A different perspective on the streets of Byron Bay
Byron Bay on the North Coast of NSW, Australia, boasts beautiful crystal clear beaches and spectacular views to the lush green hinterland and mountains beyond.
The first town on the Australian mainland to receive the sun's warming rays each morning, the climate is pretty much perfect all year round.
Since dropout surfers and hippies first started making their way here many decades ago, Byron attracts an eclectic bunch of individuals, free thinkers, non-conformists and alternative lifestylers.
Where it's totally cool to walk the streets barefoot.
Or to sit on the footpath for a tarot reading.

Ha, that is a vey good question. But when you are virtually sitting in the gutter, maybe it doesn't matter ;-)

Hello @atnicholson You've just reminded me that I simply have to get in the car and drive down to this beautiful and fascinating part of Australia. I don't live too far away, (Scarborough in Q'ld) but have never visited Bryon Bay........yet. I love the fact that you have even presented your theme of a different perspective in your photo too. Very clever.
You should go check it out when you get the chance. It was a bit busy over Christmas but may be a bit more relaxed now. I'm a couple of hours south of Byron. I don't get up there that often, but will definetly make a few photography trips up there over the coming months.
