LOOKING UP AS AN APPRECIATION

This is a true life story
One foreman and a labourer were working in a structural construction site.
The foreman is up about 100mtrs above the ground while the labourer is on the ground.
The foreman needed the attention of the labourer, he called but the labourer didn't hear.
Then, a thought came to the foreman, he threw $1 bill down, instead of the labourer to look up, he picked up the bill and put in his pocket.
The foreman threw another $2 bill, the labourer acted same way as before.
The foreman threw $5 bill again to call for his attention, but the labourer reacted same way.
Now, the foreman taught of what to do next, this time, he threw a piece of iron which smack the head of the labourer, this time he shouted and looked up to the foreman.

Many of us are like the labourer, when God is giving us gifts by which he's expecting us to look up and gain our attention, we always think it's by our own efforts that we are getting results.
But when he gives us knock on the head, it's that time that we shout and look up to God.
Don't let us be like that labourer, let us recognize God as our provider, supplier and all in all, don't let us wait for His knock before we appreciate and recognize His existence in our lives.
