The Mad Lich: The Transformation

Once upon a time there was a powerful wizard that had two apprentices. A young man named Clyde and a pretty young girl named Lily.

The old wizard is very fond of his two apprentices and treats them like his own grandchildren. But one fateful day an accident happened while they are conducting a magic experiment. A magic explosion occured!

This horrible explosion injured the old wizard and Clyde, but it was Lily who took the brunt of the explosion— transforming her into a lich!

A lich is a powerful undead that uses dark magic and is capable of controlling other undead creatures. The sudden development had turn a beautiful young lady into an entity consist only of bones.

Seeing this the old wizard and Clyde was shocked to the core, expecially Clyde who had feeling for the girl. Realizing what happened to her Lily was heartbroken and was almost driven by madness.

'Nooo!!!' Screamed the lich Lily.

Using her new found power, she teleported away unable to accept her fate.

'Wait Lily!' Clyde tries to stop her but was a step to late.

Weeks past after the event but the mental and emotional wound has yet to heal. The wizard in an attempt to save Lily used all the power and connections he had but to no avail. According to some ancient records to turn a lich back to a human again is almost impossible—atleast no one had yet to succeed.

Failing to save his own apprentice, the wizard is greatly heartbroken and decided to retire, but Clyde refuse to give up. He believe there is a way and is willing to try everything—even to dabble in the dark art of necromancy.

Thus he secretly left his teacher and went to one place in the entire continent where most necromancers resides: the valley of despair.

After almost half a year of traveling he finally reached his destination but was blocked by a powerful ghost guarding the main entrance.

'No living is allowed to enter the valley of despair!' The ghost wails.

'I'm not among the living! I'm a necromancer!' Clyde replies, showing a badge belonging to a necromancer.

After seeing the badge and confirming its autheticity, the ghost no longer blocks his way and allow him entry into the valley. Taking a deep breath, Clyde enters with determination.

'Wait for me, Lily. I will be there soon.' Clyde murmured to himself.

...and thus the wheel of fate turned again. The twisted tale of two youth played by destiny had begun.
