Recall when we met,
At the edge of a black hole,
At the end of the world
Balanced on a dime.
Who cares what we said,
The event horizon knows,
The apocalypse knows.
Let's own the moment.
You wanted to jump
Cease to exist in spacetime,
You wanted the rapture
Or where they combine.
I just wanted talk.
Perspective in the vacuum,
Some insight near the end,
A deathbed wisdom.
The world is dizzy,
With both our orbits dancing
Ever out of favor
Ever against odds.
I'm glad that we met
At the event horizon,
In the apocalypse,
With chance as the end.

Kurt Vonnegut says, hit them with your best stuff first then you have got them through the remainder. I think you did that with this line of the first stanza-
At the end of the world
Balanced on a dime.
