In the early 1990's, in fact I think it was 1990,
there was a series of comics called,

“Beautiful Stories For Ugly Children”.

Issues 1 and 13 of this series and
some additional material were collected in,

“A Cotton Candy Autopsy”.

This is a tale of the downward spiral
of a group of rogue clowns and freaks.
Along the way, there is clown love with the conjoined,
tormented clowns seeking surcease of their pain.
There are clowns that think little of finishing off a mime,
and clowns that think nothing of finishing off a bottle.

In 2007 a cartoon was made, several in fact.

Along the road, researching this post,
I came across another video which I had not seen before.
It was made from the original 1st issue.
