A Little Story We Could All Learn From

The Pastor and the Flooding City

As the city was being flooded by enormous amounts of rain, the water levels were dangerously increasing.
The pastor had complete faith in god and refused to evacuate the city as officials warned all to vacate the surrounding area.

Each day for 3 days a life boat came to save him but he again refused and said each time, god will protect me.
The next day he dies.

In heaven he's upset and says to god, why did you not protect me??
God says, I sent 3 life boats to you for 3 days, what more could I do?

Two great lessons here.

We must be aware of our surroundings to be able to see all our opportunities in life. Sometimes you could be staring right at your answer and not even realize it!
We must take action ourselves to get what we need! You can't get anything in this world without speaking up about it, grabbing it physically, knowing the steps and executing. This is how many fail with the Law of attraction. Nothing can magically just fall in your lap... well it may fall in your lap but you will still have to finish the next step by doing it! Maybe just saying YES! Sometimes it is hard for people just to accept something.
