The Magic Gateway.
Life had changed so much from what I knew, the magic of the old ways is as nothing to the science of this new world. Yet everything is tainted, everything is a disaster wrapped up as a gift. During my time at the isle of Glass I had watched as the world changed but nothing had prepared me for what those changes really meant. Mankind had gone to the moon, sent a robot to Mars, yet still they waged wars for money and destroyed the future for profit. The ancient woods and forests were gone as they became victims of progress, nature had been given a value to be sold off and ripped down.
The Reverend introduced me to computers and the internet and I quickly started to absorb the information that could be found there. It seemed that everything was on this internet but hidden within an ocean of lies, or as it was called now, fake news. Scientists had told of the disaster waiting to happen but others had denied those claims and the whole money buys power had caused wide spread disbelief in the whole ecological cause.
During my time on the Isle of Glass I’d learnt to read and digest information far faster than normal, so within a couple of days I’d read and understood that greed and a lust for power was what the Stain of Mordred had become. Yet knowing your enemy didn’t mean I knew how to do battle with it.
The only people who could make changes were those who made the laws but those people were largely part of the problem and would only act to protect those who were exploiting the worlds natural resources.
While I stayed close to where the Isle of Glass lay hidden I could still tap into the power that laid there, the further I moved away from what had once been Avalon the weaker those powers would become. At a loss of what to do I decided it was time to leave the vicarage and Reverend Karen and continue on my way to Glastonbury. Once there I would climb the Tor and again seek out answers from within the land. The Tor was ancient and held great power even now and I hoped I would get an idea of what I was to do by being there.
To be continued.
(This story I am making up and writing as I go along, each part is being written the night before I post it as I sit with a few glasses of whisky. As yet I have as much idea where it is going as the readers of it.)

Thank you, Imagination is just a way to play games like you did as a child but in your head as adults shouldn't play childrens games.
