Sticky's dad couldn't resist Sticky's request to spend the night in their bed.

Sticky's dad could never have imagined all the tossing and turning that happened through the whole night. Sticky came to bed at 10 pm. He laid snug between his stick figure mom and dad. By midnight Sticky and his panther Smack were rolled over to the other side of the bed. It was a hard night for Sticky's dad.

Somehow Sticky was in a deep sleep the whole night. He didn't even know that he was getting up and turning around past midnight. Sticky didn't even know that at 3 am his feet ended up in his dad's face. Sticky just naturally found the warmest place in the bed and kicked his dad out of the covers.

By five o'clock in the morning Sticky's dad found himself lying on the floor. He really didn't want to get up to go to work. He would rather just lay there on the floor until sometime in the afternoon. But Sticky's dad crawled off the floor Monday morning somehow managing to make it into the shower.

Sticky's dad put on his clothes and was about to head out the door when he heard that voice,

"Daddy, where's daddy?"

What can a father say?

"I'm here. Just about ready to go to work."

"Oh Daddy. I had good dreams last night and a good sleep. I love you daddy."

Who could blame the little stick figure anyway?

Surprisingly everything worked out well for Sticky's dad today even though he woke up on the floor.

I am beginning to enjoy these little sketches a lot and bought a little drawing mouse to connect to my computer. It cost me fifty dollars and should come in the mail next week. That’s a huge upgrade from the number 2 pencils and kindergarten marker set I have been using. Two weeks from now if you see a jump in the quality of the sketches it is probably because of the mouse. If there is no improvement it is probably because I enjoy the old way better ☺
