Raya Holiday Trip to Mesilau Kundasang
(Throwback) In Sabah we had a long holiday. We had Harvest Festival celebration on 30th & 31th May and then continue with Hari Raya 5th & 6th June. Plus with 2 weeks school holiday. Everybody took their leaves from 30th May onwards.
To give my kids an enjoyable time, I brought them to Mesilau Kundasang to enjoy the cold weather and stayed overnight at Mesilau Cliff Homestay.
Upon reached the homestay, I was surprised with the beauty of it. Small but beautiful parking space.
The main double storey house have the reception office, both Standard room and Family Room at price of RM120 and RM300 All room came with balcony facing the valley of vegetable plantation and also a river.
There were area specially prepared for outdoor party, and BBQ. Its just infont of the parking area and also downhill of main building. It just a wonderful area to sit down read your favourite book, enjoy the scenic and of cause with a cup of hot coffee or tea!! ☕☕
It also have chalet for rent! Its very beautiful. Price RM400 to RM450 only. Affordable and worth it.
Straight after we checked in and put down our baggages, we went to Desa Dairy Farm. My kids love to watch and feed the dairy cows and goats. The place was so crowded with locals and tourist from China, Korea, Japan.....
The weather on that day was good. The cloud slowly opened up. It was fortunate to be able to see Mt Kinabalu and it was so majestic! I took many pictures from different spot.
These were taken along the way from Mesilau Golf Club to the earthquake damaged Mesilau Nature Lodge. It was so beautiful!
I regretted of only stayed 1 night. Should have go for 2 nights.

This is beautiful. And thanks for sharing. When I balik kampung this year end, I can take my girls there too. They would love the dairy farm.
