Lennox is one of the most dominant and respected British boxing heavyweight champions of all time. His legendary rise began with a stunning 25-0 run with his lone loss coming by way of Oliver McCall's right hand. This stoppage was highly controversial as Lennox was on his feet and ready to go as the referee called a stop to it, many know that Lennox would have continued and most likely kept eating away at McCall with his sublime jab. This was just a slow halt to a legend's career as Lennox redeemed this loss 3 years later after dominating the likes of Tommy Morrison, Ray Mercer, and Justin Fortune.
Fortune in fact became one of Lewis' trainers down the line and they achieved many title defenses as a team. Lennox in his prime utilized one of the most effortlessly powerful jabs in the game, and he had a tremendous right hand if he couldn't keep range. Welcoming a young Shannon Briggs into the game, and having two violent confrontations with the Real Deal Holyfield proved that Lennox was a sure all time great. His victories over legends like Tyson and Vitali will always be remembered, and although there were controversy to many a Lewis fight (on both sides of the coin), he definitely was one of the smoothest big men to ever grace a ring.

Lennox will be remembered for going out on a massive win against a highly technical Vitali Klitschko, who is still arguably the better Klitschko brother. It can be said Lennox was born in the wrong era, as he never caught anyone in their true prime. He was one hell of a talent but was always more jaded to his wins than accepted. The Lion was a valiant champion, and still one of the most tested in terms of technical talent the 90s heavyweight division could offer. He redeemed the only 2 losses he ever received, both by knockout. Lay ode to the old beasts who paved way for the new, Lennox is a legend deserving of much praise.

Who is your favorite Heavy Weight of all time?

mine is mike tyson

There's really no other way to go... Mike tyson all the way

Seems to be a popular choice

Right, mine Is Mike Tyson... Amazing...

I like Lewis, he gave us amazing fights
I know all his fights as I am a boxing fan and been watching it for over 20 years now
However I like Mike Tyson More
He was the one called
The Baddest Man on The Planet!
He was a knock out artist and Show man
BUT
Lewis was a gentleman compared to Tyson

a true legend in the heavy weight ring and a heavy hitter, his fight with mike tyson was one of my best and him taking down tyson on the eight round on a TKO was amazing , love the guy and never missed a Lennox match

Lennox was a legend, best of his era.
