Rambling Thoughts: Considering a Raffle on an 8 ozT "$5 SILVER CERTIFICATE" Ingot...
This thing is YUUUGE!!!
6" x 2.5" x ~ 0.09375" thick (3/32" with a 1/32" marked rule) and it's coming up SPOT-ON for density. It passes the Scratch Test (no copper visible LOL) and the magnet test (non-magnetic) plus I bought it at a totally reputable shop. Don't worry about my scratch test, it's on the edge and not really visible unless you look right at it, with magnification :D
The reason I am floating this idea out there is that I want to raise funds for my minnowbootcamp community bot, and I'd love to get Spot Price for this bad-boy... Covering international Shipping to the UK would be nice also, cuz that dang @owenwat is due to win again LMAO!!! So at $16.50 ozT I'd love to get $150 U$D raised for this piece, but in SBD of course. Steem and SBD is right around $3.50 so that equates to 43 SBD rounded off. Call it a nice even 40 SBD Target. Anything over is GRAVY... Biscuits and Gravy :D
I need input, from playas and raffle-runners. FIAT is about non-existent right now for me and I need to keep what I have for bills until I get back to the old Salt Mines this month... I'm not only considering the DARK Method, @darmmrmystic, but offering a bonus for referrals like "I saw this on @raybrockman 's re-post so I came over" with that the Fun Never Ends! I just don't get the exposure some of the SSG members get, I'm too busy with my Boot Camp Duties to have the high profile in SSG plus I belong to #thealliance as well.
Last Item, I need ideas on a buy-in price. I want it to be higher as I know 8 ozt in one chunk is a killer prize, but not too high to keep smaller stackers from playing. I'm thinking 2 SBD and up... 20 playas @ 2 gets it there to my minimum. Thoughts? 15 Playas @ 3 sbd is better, with these high-rollers we got ;) I also wanna know if we should cap this, unlike the last raffle.

You could stipulate that all spots must be filled by payout or funds are returned. I like 30 spots at 1.5 SBD.
Once all 30 spots are filled and extra SBD sent could get more spots opened up. And after the first 30 all 100% upvotes on said raffle post could count towards a bonus entry...
Just food for thought.
