Silver of the Day #7
In true @themanwithnoname fashion, I'm stretching out the most recent trip to the LCS as long as possible. That means today you get to see more from the most recent run, but you get to look forward to more tomorrow.
Today, check out the new silverware I got. I got a place setting a few weeks back because I like silver so much that I wanted to eat with it. This weekend, I got another set so when I have a buddy come over, we can both eat off real silver.
Unfortunately they had sold the rest of the set that I had bought the first group from. But they still had a bunch more to choose from, so I grabbed these. They're a little "prettier" than the last set, but that's ok. I'll just make my buddies use them.
Have I inspired anyone else to start getting some silverware?

I really enjoy all silver products. Silverware is just one more way to add value. Also it is often overlooked enable to be picked up at reasonable prices. Thanks for sharing!

And I agree, silverware is silver and counts on the stack. When I have a treasure chest full of loot, I definitely want there to be some silver in there. The prices aren't too bad, and there's even more silver content than constitutional silver, so if you're going for purity, that's not a bad way to go.

Uh, I'm inspired! I've been inspired. Just haven't done much about it. I think the set looks great, and eating with silverware sounds like fun, except when you have to wash them over and over so you can use them the next time.
And doesn't your wife get to use the new ones? Or does she not really want to. And do your buddies all have stackitus too? Would they even notice that the silverware they're using is 'prettier"?
This is a serious unveiling of the last LCS run you're doing here. I don't blame you. You've got to make these things last as long as you can. :)
I'm glad you're inspired, @glenalbrethsen! Sometimes there's a delay between inspiration and action. That's ok. It means it's just going to percolate in there until it's ready.
It's a lot of fun to eat with them. They're heavier than normal flatware and I like that. I feel like I'm actually holding something substantial, and not just because of the weight. They're not difficult to clean. You can just give them a quick clean with a sponge and then rinse with hot water. They're anti-microbial, so they're better to eat with than flatware.
My wife doesn't really care about using silverware. I think it's just me. She hasn't quite caught the silver bug, but that's ok. She still likes that I like it and she supports my desire to get more. I don't think any of my buddies have stakitus. It's sad. I wish I could get some of them hooked. I have been giving out silver american eagles for a while as presents, and I'm hoping that one day it will click for people that this stuff is awesome. Until then, I just keep stacking on my own. I don't know that the guys would notice the silverware is pretty. They do have a nice flower pattern though, so they very well could notice.
I only have so much cash available, so I have to spread it out when I finally get to acquire some new stuff. One day I'm going to have packages arriving every day, but until then, this is how we roll. :)
It's nice having something to post about every day. I don't have to come up with a topic, I already know. I just have to figure out which one I will write about.
