Last Friday I read a post from @silverstackeruk it was about a new coin that the Perth Mint just released. I will provide the link below.

So I headed over to the Perth Mint to check it out. Boy was I impressed! I had to have one. So I called the Perth Mint, Like a dumb ass I guess I thought they where on the same time zone, nope they are 14 hours ahead of me. So I had to wait untill 7pm to call and talk to someone to place a order. When I did reach someone they probably said " I just talked to the biggest redneck ever. Being that I am from the lower southeast United States, I kinda have a country accent.... so I am sure that the wonderful ladies at the Perth Got a good laugh
The item I ordered from the perth has a mintage of 8,888, so of course I called and placed the order, doing this allowed me to try and get a specific number, of course I tried # 8 , #88 , #888 and #8888 all 4 where already sold. So I went after 2222 which equals 8, bingo they had it. Also picked up 7723 (2 of my kids where born on the 7th and the other one on the 23rd) of couse this one was available. So I picked up both numbers.
Well at this point anyone reading this probably has no Idea what coin it is, except you @sikverstackeruk

Coa's with the right numbers.
So todays haul was 4 oz of silver each coin is 2oz. For a total of $396.36 AUD. Which I don't know how much that is in USD, I think around $312.00
I know, that was a lot of dollars for 4 oz, but man they are nice, I would recommend this coin to anyone, but you better hurry they only made 8,888. Another silver purchased with steem.

I've always just bought the cheapest mint silver rounds, quantity over quality. Sometimes when I'm feeling down I pour all my silver coins onto my bed and make silver angels. :D

I actually laughed out loud at the 14 hours time difference. Ok, so im jelly and can not wait until i order 1 of these in 2 weeks with the UK group buy. And you touched it with your bare hands, your a mad man but i like it.

Just to be clear I touched #7723 not #2222.... dude it is a sweet ass coin, you are gonna love it. From the coin to the display case,,, perth did this one spot on.
I might have got lucky as main dealer is the perth mint supplier for europe :D Keep your eyes peeled, in a few weeks i be showing mine off. I was on the edge, but the casing has pushed me over. I must have 1 even if it is way out of my normal per oz spending range.

Probably so. But I had to touch it.... yeah it caused my $ per oz to go up a little.
Uh oh, 8 is my favorite number and my baseball jersey number almost my entire life. I'll be looking into getting one of these. I'm not sure if I have a choice really.
