Well a week ago I put out a post on a design contest for @raybrockman, see I wanted a logo designed to put on to a silver bar or round and I just didn't feel good about the design that I came up with.
Now I tried to make the contest as serious as I could, with offering up 10oz of free silver to the winning design. At no point what so ever wish I thinkbitbwoukd end up just being about the silver. I did have several entries that qualified. I also had several that did not qualify. There where 5 specific things that had to be represented on the logo..

Now one thing that I am not happy about was the last minute entries, that where submitted very close to the time that the rest of the entries could not be voted on any more.(12 hours from post payout) Then the last entries started using vote bots and vote trails on their entries. Now I would have expected this from a bunch of new members but not from top members of #steemsilvergold. This was such a rush job on the last minute entries that they where more concerned about the silver then their own logos. The winning logo didn't even have all 5 things represented. I mean it was 5 things that had to be represented on the logo and you missed one!
No where on this logo is GIVING represented.
Now on the runner up design there where some issues as well. There was no representation of steemit or crypto's. So this design missed 2 of the 5 requirements.
Now we did have some entries that included all 5 items.
As you can see some of the better logos that had all the requirements, didn't get many votes.
those last 2 are a couple of my favorites that I think have some potential to be a good logo for @raybrockman

So let's do this again, one more time and that is it. Same prize and same requirements. You have 7 days to enter, NO VOTE TRAILS OR BOTS CAN BE USED.
If you want the 10oz of silver the come get it but yiur logo has to be right and on point.

I think you should just choose your favorite instead of the use with the largest number of friends on Steemit that gets them to vote!
I agree with this ^. It should not be a popularity contest, it should be who has the best design- and it is subjective. Don't worry about hurting feelings- we are more concerned than the entrants (psychologically we put more pressure on ourselves than others do) Just pick the best design as you determine. You're the one who has to live with it after all ;)

So i went through my last post and picked my favorite, then made some adjustments to include all 5....

I know I'm a Dick! I honestly don't know what's wrong with me I blame it on the Stackitis. No seriously though, I was thinking about the design for days and didn't mean to get it in last minute I just lost track. Then shippie jumped straight on it and I though crap he's gonna win it with that because he's right in with the alliance. I actually thought my design was good and I'd love to see it on silver, the 'Giving' bit was cryptic like 'give the dog a bone'. But yeah it turned stupid fast and we were tied at like 20 votes each, then he went up a few more and I knew I was gonna lose and I just thought F it. It just felt like a stupid race and I knew it would kick off but I did it anyway sorry all.
