Today I Lost My Virginity

in #steemsilvergold6 years ago (edited)

Today was a joyful one as you see by the title.

Normally the spare cash I have left over, and with nothing really needed to buy- I go and buy Crypto.

This can only go on for so long and in the back of my mind a moment today had to happen very soon for my personal future to have some financial freedom if I dont want to change the way im living. People who are thinking that for example Bitcoin is a good investment are very correct, and it is for sure a good long term investment of say around the 10 year mark.

I just want to propose one point that crossed my mind a while ago, to you. If you are an activist of true freedom and have already gone off-grid, you have gone off-grid because (most likely) you disagree with how everyone is living and decided to find an alternative.
Speaking from my own opinion, if you ask me how I think the world will look in 10 years from now, Id answer you " Did you ever see that film MadMax and that film called Time? - A mixture of these".... "Oh and maybe with a bit of that classic WaterWorld".

If we decided to Invest all what we can into Bitcoin or any other Crypto for that matter whilst wanting a long term investment, then that's all very well but has anyone ever thought to question what you will sell it for?
Ok, lets imagine (quite easily), by 2031 there will be nothing know as cash anymore on this planet that has any recognized value anymore. Its History. The world started using blockchain for everything already 10 years ago, and since then you've still managed to live in peace and self sufficiently in the nature. There's the smart grid, been active already for many years, drones flying everywhere in the skys and AI Humaniods more seen than the original human being. But because your a bit of an anarchist, you own no devices because by this time they will all be Smart Devices. Devices will be possibly even BUILT IN to the human user, considering its started already with microchips. You are an outsider, and haven't seen a city since the grid started and are most likely called a "terrorist" or a "fugitive of the system". You hear from somewhere that the Bitcoin you brought a decade ago is now worth 10million USD. NICE!

  • Electric will most likely be centralized and to get electric you must be micro-chipped and living in a Smart City, so how will you get to sell the BTC that you saved all them years? Your an outsider with no ID, a Freeman living as a human being.

  • There will be no more currency represented as cash, so what will you sell your bitcoin for? Many years ago just after the adoption of blockchain in the world, Gold and Silver are just now owned by the rich and anyone wanting to pay the very high prices for metals will have to be in registered in the system, microchipped and giving daily eye scans, voice identification, full surveillance in a world where theres no work anymore and a universal income.. and god knows what else scary shit they have planned. Which by the way, you can see has started happening in the last days in India. Make sure you DONT go to mainstream media to hear why its happening over there!!

Loosing The Virginity And Doing The Deed..

Before I came to Norway, I was making money with the Guitar in Berlin, Germany, using it to get the equipment for my first ever bicycle tour from North Germany to Oslo. One of those days, a guy came and gave me some money in the pot on the ground resting on the guitar case and we ended up chatting. He was a bit of a freak and later he came back and presented me with a silver coin. It was a Red riding hood one and had stamped on it that it was worth 20 euro. At first I was thinking I should go sell it for 20euro but then I didnt and I left it in Germany at a friends place by accident before leaving. A few months after this I met my first "Stacker" who gave me a ride from Oslo to Germany in his car and he wouldn't stop talking about silver coins and the bible in equal measures, often linking the two in sentance's together. He was erratic, and quite "crazy" but im used to hanging around different people so it was bearable. Anyway we even went searching antiques shops in Sweden looking for silver spoons and he certainly introduced me to Silver. I was telling him about Bitcoin and he said it was better to buy silver, this was all happening in 2016. After meeting this guy, I started to watch documentary's and to learn more about silver and gold and today I went into a Coin shop that I see often on my way around the city.

I didnt have much but knew that I could buy something- my first silver investment.

I do still want to and still will be buying cryptocurrencys, but im more of a practical guy and cyber digital assets are still just like cash has become, a number on a screen and worse of all, dependent on electricity and the internet. I know with silver that I can own it (for as long as I live) and I have it in my possession, known by all humans all over the world as VALUE. If you know about silver, it even has amazing health benifits that I believe are still under-researched and it wont go rusty if not stored properly, along with many other cool benifits.

Drum Roll Pleaaaase!

Ezekiel 28:4
By your wisdom and your understanding you have made wealth for yourself, and have gathered gold and silver into your treasuries;

Disclaimer: Im not into religion, I see the bible as a book that we just cant fully and truly comprehend...

I said to the guys in the shop, that I want to start buying Silver and I dont care what is on the coin. They then suggested that they might have some lumps of silver, and so I went to check out what they had on display amazed at the different coins in there, some even from 400 BC! But suddenly that offer wasnt available, and then he produced a bag of coins from down under the counter. "these are very cheap" he said. and I had just learnt how the Silver trade works lol. He didnt want to sell the lumps and obviously wanted to get rid of these coins. Fair deal , I wanted silver of any kind, and he wanted a cheap price for some coins.
I saw this and wanted to get it first as I am in Norway I had to make this my first choice before even seeing the coins he suggested.

Heres the cheap coins, I just got one but ill get the rest next week!

And I got the other small bar he had there, this millennium one with chinese or japanese writing..

And thats its for now! Hodling Just Expanded To Different Realms :) Hope you enjoyed!

I would love to hear from others and have started following the silver hand pourers on Steemit, but I guess people who are into Crypto, are also into metals so any comments you have Id love to hear also your thoughts on why you have silver or gold.

Very informative post!
What was the going price for the silver bars ?

Hi digi! I got the bars for 200kr each, there was only 3 bars there, and so there is one dragon left unless someone took it already :) I might go buy some more next week from the same place. I decided that the loose change I get from throughout the day will be for silver, either that or coffee! 4 cups from narvesen is 20g of silver! im sure when money is finished, a cup of coffee wont be worth 4 grams or pure silver then!! HA!

Thanks for the info.
If you drink a lot of coffee and work/pass near a gas station you might want to get something called a coffee-agreement (Kaffeavtale in Norwegian.) What that means is that you get unlimited amount of coffee for the whole year of 2018 for around 200 kroner.
I have not tried it myself but a lot of people that work outdoors go for that option.

Here is the link for the 7-eleven gas stations (not kiosks) kaffeeavtale:

And the one for Shell:

oh yeh I atually got one not long ago for 7 11, it really dosn't help the coffee addiction though hahahahha, and the tea selection is not much of a selection.. or i take a hot chocolate, but still thats sugar! hihi murderers :)
I fell accidently into the coin shop earlier, and someone has took the last bar :( buuuut I saw a post , of which i need to find again, it had the info from a guy in Norway where one can go to get cheap antique silver pieces, and it works out cheaper, plus you have an antinque! Ill hopefully find it and resteem it!

You might be thinking of this:

https://www.samlerhuset.no/krigsseilermedalje

It is a free commemorative silver coin. The only cost is mailing it (39 nok)

Aha, no, i just found the post and resteemed it 😀 feel free to check it out! I will later

Dam somehow im not sending replys lol.. I found the post with the silver and resteemed it so its there to see 😀

Oh ok,it did send lol

Another one bites the dust!

You my friend just contracted stackitus.
It is a horrible malady that can only be eased with more stacking. Good luck!

Im fully aware and It feels GREAT!!

Help,im fucked up very sick.. not even 24hours and its happened again! Dam!!

Silver, gold, and crypto are the best things to be collecting now

Lol! I was also going to say you have a funny sense of humor

Do you have metals also? Its feel king-like!

Lol I'm sure! I have a little. But not much yet. It does feel different than paper. It's like we know it has more value lol

of course it has more value, paper is just paper! If you have any paper laying around then go buy a coin! Talking of paper, of to work now :)

I did get some more of those cheap coins :) he didnt have many left already the second time I went in lol

Tavex at the end of Karl Johan is probably the best place to buy silver over the counter.

Nice , ill check it out, do they have the bars with the section of 1g pieces?

100g bars sectioned in 1g or 10g i meant!

By the way, "best" is of course a subjective thing. I've heard rumors that this is the place to go if one wants gold (or silver), paying as little as possible for the overhead.

I haven't checked, you may check tavex.no.

In Norway one generally has to pay 25% VAT on gold and silver, but there are some exceptions ... such as legal tender.

The price you pay is the silver price, plus some extra for the coin itself (may be significant if it's a rare and old coin), plus commission to the shop, and eventually 25% VAT.

I'm not sure about it, but there may have been some "subsidized" silver going around lately, I believe there was some silver lost during WWII that was recently hauled up from the sea, and it was said to "belong to the people of Norway", so they made coins out of it and gave it away. I believe my son managed to get hold of such a "free" coin (he did have to pay something for distribution and shipping though). That's rather crazy, it's like a free gift to those being at the right place at the right time getting the right information and acting on it. It's also a great subsidy to the commercial distributor. My son is still getting spammed weekly since he participated in this offer.

Haha I bet the spam is "We buy your old gold, for cash!"

Yes! I enjoyed this post very much. I see that you also like the long-format :-) Other movie suggestions to explore possible outcomes for the future are The Matrix, Equilibrium and Gattaca, all great movies in my view. But yes, like you they all paint a grim future. That's why it's good advice to invest in both digital and real assets before the surveillance state kills all our freedoms.

Great post @movingman!

Well it was just going to be a "look at what I got" post, but you know, I have alot to say and enjoy to tell things from a black sheeps perperctive :)

Unlike gold, silver oxidizes easily.

I remember I had an old shabby spoon, I don't remember if I threw it or kept it, only later it dawned for me that it actually was a silver spoon ...

Is it likely that silver spoons are 925. and not 999.? Im looking on finn, theres some coins for sale, but really i have no interest in collecting coins, just the 999. part interests me lol. I hope to find some private seller of just random lumps of 999.silver :)

Added to my follow list. Keep up the good work and what do you think of the current market?

What one, Silver or Crypto? Both are better than putting money into a bank or burying it :) Saw you on another post and following you already

You just planted 0.26 tree(s)!

centralized electricity is not the future, solar panels and batteries only get cheaper and better.
