Greetings compatriots of the of Steemland.

Today's randomly chosen project from Steem Projects is named Get on Steem.

What is the project

Very simple: A tool for creating new accounts in Steem.

If you do not already know, every account created in the blockchain has a cost, including the accounts created by the process of steemit.com's own website (probably a money that comes directly from Steem Inc. accounts).

But beyond this main creation process, there are some alternatives, the main one being through direct access to the blockchain and execution of a specific command. I have already written a guide in portuguese a little more detailed on that topic.

But the proposal here is exactly the same as all other account creation tools.

The creator of this project is the @purec who wrote about his creation and his proposal in his first post on steemit

His blog, however, does not show much activity.

My project review

Since account creation through Steemit.com usually takes a long time, tools that facilitate this process are always welcomed for when you want to create an account for that friend of yours that you keep on telling him all the time that he needs to get into Steem ASAP.

What about costs? The blockchain account creation rate at this very moment is 0.1 STEEM (this rate is set by the witnessess), and Get on Steem charges a 3 STEEM fee. It is not much different from other options, such as Blocktrades and Anonsteem, and usually they all send the extra amount of account creation as SP or STEEM to the new account.

However, there are some red flags you should be aware of before using this tool to create a new account...

The first and foremost of them is that to create the account it is necessary to enter private with your active key, which is never a very good idea, especially if the site in question does not use Steemconnect.

The second is that I found virtually nothing on Steemit about anyone using this tool. Absolutely no recommendations.

Final Verdict

There are better and safer ways to pay for creating a Steem account. So do not recommend anyone to use this service, mainly due to the need for you to put your active private key.
