YL Aus Trip#6 Sorrento & Arthurs Seat,Melbourne(3)

Let's continue my Australia travels!

Today's itinerary:
Sorrento & Arthurs Seat at Mornington Peninsula

It was a really good day to go for a day trip as the weather was cool and bright!
Now....Here we go!!!

Sorrento
Sorrento is located at Mornington Peninsula, around 1hr 15mins drive from my stay! Sorrento is an area which located by the sea with relax life style, great view, we enjoyed our brunch at the seaside cafe.
Big breakfast, mussels with chili soup and beef burger was delicious. The staff also prepared us a coffee, drew the outside view by chocolate syrup on it because he saw that we loved the view so much! haha....How sweet?!
(Unfortunately, I forgot to take the food portrait for my beef burger lol)


We walked to the Sorrento long pier - a long wooden bridge at the beach after brunch :) The wooden bridge have a notice and said that " No more than 10 people stay on the bridge at the same time.." We need to be more careful as the bridge look quite fragile.
Really love those photos which took on the bridge!

It was quite windy when we were standing on the bridge, so be aware with strong sea breeze as you are using the camera and tripod!! Finished our photo section on the bridge, we walked along the coastline and arrived Searoad Ferry Terminal. There is a ferry run between Queenscliff and Sorrento, luckily we saw the arrival of ferry.

Let's enjoy a relax walk at the ferry terminal!


Arthurs SeatThen we drive up the hill of Arthurs Seat, a newly build sight-seeing cable car - Arthurs Seat Eagle is standing at the peak.


For your information, the peak is not the perfect location to see the stunning view of Arthurs Seat! The perfect locations are the lookouts that located at the way down the mountain!
Strongly suggest you can visit those lookouts to see the stunning view of Mornington Peninsula and Melbourne!

繼續我的澳洲遊記吧!今天的日程有..在摩寧頓半島的索倫多跟亞瑟座!
那天真的好適合出去一天遊的日子, 天氣又清涼又陽光普照!
我們現在出發吧!!

索倫多(Sorrento)
索倫多位於摩寧頓半島, 離我住的地方約1小時15分鐘車程! 索倫多是一個生活輕鬆,又有美景的海邊小鎮, 我們在那邊的cafe享用了一頓美味的早午餐!! 全日早餐, 青口配辣湯, 牛肉漢堡都十分美味! 那邊的職員看到我們很喜歡那裡的風景, 更在咖啡上用巧克力漿畫了窗外的景色給我們! 太貼心了 :)
(可惜的是....我忘了跟牛肉漢堡拍獨照....哈哈)

之後, 我們到了索倫多海灘上的小木橋
小木橋頭有一個告示..."橋上每次不能超過10個人!" 我們走上去的時候更格外小心了! 橋上面又挺大風的...小心強烈的海風會把你的相機跟三腳架吹到海裡去 :P

拍完照後, 我們沿著海岸線走到渡輪碼頭! 這兒的渡輪是來往索倫多到大洋路附近的Queenscliff.
我們很幸運看到了渡輪泊岸!

亞瑟座(Arthurs Seat)
我們駕車到了半島的最高點-亞瑟座! 山頂這邊有新建的觀光吊車-Arthurs Sear Eagle!
提提你!!! 山頂可不是看風景的最佳位置喔!
最佳位置是在下山路上的瞭望台-Murrays Lookout
強烈建議..下次如果你有機會到這邊的話...來看一看這壯觀的摩寧頓半島跟墨爾本風景吧!!
