Steem Power not changing tomorrow!

Along with other changes

In a recent post by @dantheman https://steemit.com/steem/@dantheman/steem-economic-changes-update he stated..

Things to be implemented.

  • Allocate 75% of the created Steem to the Reward Fund.
  • Allocate 15% of the created Steem to the Vesting Fund as interest on Steem Power.
  • Allocate 10% of the created Steem to the Witnesses.
  • Reducing the Steem Power holding period to a minimum of three months.

He also went on to say..

I have tentatively set the hard fork date to Tuesday November 16th..

However it has been stated on the Github page that it will not be changed.

The 16th is tomorrow and we have not made a release for 0.16.0. It is safe to say the hardfork will not be on the 16th. We will have a release out at least one week prior to the hardfork date. -mvandeberg

So for now it still looks like the Power Down cycle will not change to 3 months tomorrow and also we will still be earning 90% Steem Power interest as well.. so STEEM on!

      Isn't that one of the duties and responsibilities of witness's? (to use their best judgement to determine what is best?)

            May I ask where you got 90% from? :P

            Is that the inflation rate currently? I thought it was higher.
