In line with this year's celebration of International Women's Day on March 8, YAKAL (Yakapin Ating Kultura't Kalikasan Alay sa Lipunan) organized an event to support all women around the world. Yakal is an organization composed of different people that has the heart and cares to our environment. The event was held on Lapu Lapu Monument, Rizal Park in Manila on the 10th of March. Right after the meet up held in Kawit Cavite we go straight here to witness and experience this one of a kind event.

Kuya Marlon) were busy setting up for the event,
@tiffanyanne and I also prepared the fliers. The program was about to start when we came back to the venue after we had fliers printed out. On the entrance, there was a table for the registration where we met
@kuminga who helped us in distributing the fliers. My friend
@ejeeywander was also there. She couldn't made it to the meet up that's why she comes along with us in
Musikalye.
To start the program, they asked for volunteers from the audience to join them and to try playing their instruments. It was followed by the young artists who showcase their talents in singing.
As this was celebration for women's, they also invited us to come up and join them on stage.
We've enjoyed it very much!

It was my first time to watch an event like this and I've really enjoyed it. The artists who performed there was truly amazing. They all have beautiful voices that when they started to open their mouths and sing you will surely have a goosebumps!!
We also had a great time talking to Kuya Marlon. Even though he was so busy, he still finds time to entertain us and as well as my questions regarding with his project "A Walk of Hope". We do not let to missed an opportunity like this to take a picture with him.
The event hasn't finished yet but we have to left already.
We left at past 6 in the evening as we are heading to Mall of Asia to watch pyromusical.
We would like to thank the people behind this wonderful and successful event! You guys are so AMAZING!!!
We hope to see you again next year!
