SteemMonsters: Buying Cards vs Buying Packs - Which is better?

Hello SteemMonsters fans.

Another day, another opportunity to battle your monsters in the SteemMonsters arena -> exciting. 😎

After you have purchased your Starter pack (remember to use my ref link: https://steemmonsters.com/?ref=sm-master), you will need to decide whether you will build your teams and deck by buying Booster Packs or by buying individual cards you want in the marketpkace.

Which is better you may ask???

Normally BUYING the cards you want will work out to be the cheaper and better option. Firstly you are guaranteed the card you want - obviously, but also there are card flippers who buy thousands of packs looking only for Gold Foil Legendaries - discarding all else and dumping those valuable cards in the market for much less than they are worth.

Of course by buying cards, you remove the chance of getting the gold and special edition cards yourself.

BUT: having said that, at the moment people are going ABSOLUTELY CRAZY for the neutral cards (as per photo). Prices are very high for these, with the Raging Impaler going for $4. These are only regular edition cards - getting one in a pack is rarer than usual being an Epic - but not $4 worth of rare.

Conclusion - buying booster packs right now seems to be quite profitable -> almost every pack contains cards worth the $2 purchase price of the pack. PLUS you get a chance at the gorgeous GOLD cards. How long will this last for is anyones guess though.
