Getting frustrated with this Steem monsters season.
Well.. Frustrated is a heavy word haha (makes for a good title :P), but im not enjoying this season as much as the ones that came before it. And there are a few reasons for that.
From day 1 there have been a lot of talks about bots in Steem monsters. The devs tried to fix that issue a few times with mediocre success.
The latest attempt being a significant cut in rewards for players that arent top ranked, essentially punishing low lvl players that might not have top lvl cards because of bot farms.
Today, while doing my daily i actually ran into 10 different bot accounts probably run by the same guy since every single game it was the exact same composition... The bot problem didnt go away just because the prizes were reduced.
What was worse is that bots figured out FOMO cards/splinters that give significant advantage and are over powered for their lvl. So it was a pain completing dailes on my alts.
What else?
Yeah. They decided to nerf my favorite splinter (fire) and my favorite fire splinter card.. Giving no decent replacement while doing so.
Atm the fire splinter gets severely punished vs most heal/shield builds. The whole splinter is a big glass canon that gets negated easily.
Whats worse is that the fire splinter has the most low mana (low health) cards out of all the splinters, while the MANA cap is getting increased consistently.
Also, the reward cards fire got this season are mediocre at best compared to other splinters.
So yeah... Bots, reward cut, nerf to my favorite splinter, unlucky in card draw... hehe
Still.. Its the beta and things are bound to change over time. Just sharing a few thoughts. Let me know if im right or wrong. :D

Its really just something i see as momentary. Last season it was probably another splinter that wasnt favored, etc...
Just voicing my opinions. :D
I think it’s good for player to voice their opinions. This really is one of the only games where the creative team is taking input for their audience. More businesses should follow this model.

Same here, this season is a lot harder for new players because of bots and rewards have been cut, rage against bots ;)

Im not really a new player, i end the season Diamond 1-2, but when i play my weaker splinters for dailys its just super annoying running into bots all the time.
And i promised myself not to invest a larger sum before i make a 1000 STEEM from Steem monsters.. Im getting close. hehe.
I just started playing this game a couple of days ago. It's really fun and addicting. The most frustrating thing for me is running out of resource credits.
Oh, i see youre pretty active. Well, heres 50 SP for you for a while until you can sell some cards to power up some STEEM. You should be able to play quite a bit more games now.
