It's a celebratory and historic day, and one which steemmonsters fans and steemians in general would have been excited about. Yes, the gameplay is finally open for all to participate, and personally for me it's been a fun ride so far with lots of learning as well.

I had described about the Steemmonsters campaign on Fundition and how I'd gotten the 200$ pledge. Well I'm eagerly waiting for the booster packs to arrive so that I can have fun opening them, and I'm also waiting for the fundition special edition gold cards.

I have previously shared with you my monster collection, the golden monster collection and even introduced you all to a special golden addition to the monster family which I won in a giveaway. There have been a couple of other exciting additions to the family as well over the past few weeks.

Below is a screenshot of the first ranked game I played, and I'm so happy it was a win. So far, I'm addicted to the game and it's fun learning the tactics and intricacies of the gameplay.

Many more exciting updates are planned for the game, and of course in parallel the team is working on tweaks and fixes that will help steemmonsters reach its true potential - that of a global blockchain gaming behemoth.
