오늘도 스몬 이야기입니다.^^

아직 게임이 출시되지 않아 스몬에 대한 정보는 매우 제한적일 수 밖에 없는 상황이지만 이번 킥스타터를 시작하면서 스몬측에서 적은 글에서 꽤 많은 힌트를 얻을 수 있었습니다.

중요하다고 생각하는 몇 가지를 공유해 보도록 하겠습니다.

Single Player Campaign

You start the campaign as a low-level character and travel through the Splinterlands (which has been highly detailed in the campaign guide). As you travel, you'll collect characters, items, and level up. You'll learn about the cause of the Splintering and a role that you might play to help bring about a complete world.

-> 카드 외에 아이템도 있음을 알 수 있음. 아마 카드에 부착할 것으로 예상됨.

Grand Tournament

Every week we'll sponsor a Grand Tournament. Our plan is to host a $1000 minimum prize pool. We anticipate that a significant portion of incoming funds from card pack sales and 100% of incoming sales from trading fees will be used to increase prize pools for tournaments. The payouts are paid in Steem/SBD, which are the currencies used on the Steem blockchain. So, the dollar amount is set in USD and paid in crypto.

-> 매주 최소 $1,000 상당의 상금을 제공하는 토너먼트가 있음. 상금은 카드판매액과 거래수수료로 인한 매출의 100%로 충당함. 상금은 스팀이나 스달로 지급할 예정.

Arena Rotations

We have six Splinters representing different types of energy and elements around the world. Each Splinter has one or more arenas where summoners train. Each Arena has its own special flavor. Some will provide hometeam buffs and certain team debuffs. Some will favor large monsters and others small. Some will come with their own set of challenges. As we get more sophisticated in our fighting we'll create a schedule for matches in different Splinters and we'll publish how that effects fights.

-> 스플린터별로 아레나가 있음. 해당 스플린터는 버프를 받고 그렇지 못한 스플린터는 디버프를 받음. 또한 큰 몬스터가 유리함 등과 같은 특징이 있음. 아레나별 경기 일정은 스케쥴을 짜서 발표할 것임.

Gold Foil Combat

You'll notice that cards have two types of foils: regular (which matches the color of the Splinter it's from) and gold. There will be tournaments for each type of card. There will be tournaments that are exclusively available to gold foil cards. Not only are these cards rarer, but they also will narrow the competition of players to make for a higher chance of winning the tournament prize.

-> 골드카드의 비밀이 밝혀졌음. 골드카드 전용 토너먼트가 있는 거였음. 즉, 일반카드/골드카드 따로 싸움.

Alpha Boosters

When all the alphas are gone (108,000 Booster Packs remaining of 300,000 total), this crowdfunding opportunity is your last chance to get them. If they are completely sold out on the site and no other options are listed available for rewards, you can purchase an additional 100 packs for $500.(100% of these sales will go to tournament reward pools).

-> 현재 팔고 있는 알파 다 팔리면 100팩에 $500주고 살 수 있음.

Beta Boosters

Beta Booster packs are available for sale, as well, at $2 per pack. If you purchase 100 or more packs in a single transaction, you will receive an additional 10% bonus packs free, or if you purchase 500 packs you get 15% extra!

-> 현재 킥스타터에서 베타부스터도 팔고 있음. 아마 베타보다는 알파가 좋을 것으로 예상되나 그건 까봐야 아는 일

일반/골드 토너먼트가 따로 열립니다. 대량 현질을 많이 할 수 없는 일반인들은 골드리그에서 뛸 생각은 하지 않아야 할 것 같습니다. 아마도 그들만의 리그가 펼쳐질 것 같습니다. 가지고 있는 골드를 팔아 일반 레전더리 풀렙을 하는 게 더 유리하지 않을까 생각합니다.

아레나별로 특성이 있습니다. 결국 스플린터별로 속성이 있다는 얘기이며, 한 종류의 스플린터만 키우는 전략은 독이 될 수 있습니다. 결국엔 스플린터별로 카드를 다 사라는 얘기입니다. ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ
