Have you noticed the craze about steem monsters?

Most of you have probably seen multiple posts about steem monsters loitering in your feed or the hot section. So you probably started wondering what is steem monsters?
To state it boldly it's a card game, but not just your ordinary card game it has been built on the steem blockchain by @aggroed and @yabapmatt. Joining in will require the user to purchase a starter pack which costs 5$ and when opened provides the player with the necessary cards to play the game. Additionally, the user has the ability to buy booster packs which contain 5 cards of random rarity ranging from common, rare, legendary. With the alpha being released just a few weeks ago many players have bought over 100 booster packs to give themselves an edge over the others. A few minutes of posting this steem monsters have released Golden Cards!
The golden cards give no advantage to a player other than having a cosmetic benefit that it looks good and don't worry if you have opened many packs cards the cards will be rerolled to have a chance of being gold. This is a sneak peek to my story on steem monsters. This is a rough draft, so most of the story will be improved significantly.

Who are we?

As I lay on my back I felt the water rise to touch my feet, then it faded and took away the sand that was under me. I thought I knew everything there was to know, I thought I had everything if I only had her, but most moronically I thought she loved me. She didn't. When the sky split everything was revealed, so we all saw who we truly were. Almost everyone turned on each other except the light ones. Figures crept to where I was resting and started to charge at me. "Erebos cover me" I commanded and a thick black smoke rose up from the ground to shield me until my transformation was complete. When I got up sand grains impaled themselves into my shirt, and at that point, I knew I had to quickly change into THE LORD OF DARKNESS.

He grabbed her when she slid down, and they embraced. Everything was nothing except the intense heartbeat of two individuals who were in love. Nothing soon became something which wanted to prevent them from
