Try in username: pakisnxt and in password use your steemit login password. Let me know if it works, try logout first and relogin again.
I use pakisnxt without "@" and for password I use my privatekey for posting. I have tried repeatedly with the same results. I will have to try it with some other android device and report back.
Yes congrats on your release good karma. Hats off for making it open source too. I think having support for private keys is a very urgent one :) why wouldnt it work if u use the websocket it should work out of the box with wif instead of password?
No private key for posting doesn't work for login, use your same login credentials to login on app. Later on we can add login with only private key, for now use, same credentials you use on steemit.com to app.
@good-karma -- ran into an issue where the 'sort by' pop-up screen does not close when clicked outside the field. Got stuck on top of the screen, had to restart app.
Also, when I searched for eSteem in the iOS App Store, it didn't show up. Had to copy and paste the URL link into my phone to download.

Yes, it will take 24 hours for app to be available for search throughout AppStore. As for this small issues, please bear with me. Those issues are already fixed and available on Android with more functionality. Choosing one other option should close the popup. Only very first version for iOS was to see if app passes the proper review. Note: App internal or external testing review is way easier than actual Store release review and that's why it took 18+ days. So now we know for sure and app is available for real. I will push those changes to iOS as well. Have you checked other posts what improvements we have after v1.0.0, if no take a look please there are quite some major changes. Thanks for the support!
Thanks Tyler! Just wanted to point out, this first version of iOS is far behind in terms of development updates. But it gives me confidence now that I can deliver what I promised and constant updates will start to flow for iOS users as well. Not as frequent as Android though. But wow it felt like waiting for ages...
Hey @good-karma I finally got around to downloading it and it opens the splash screen and then goes to a white page and does nothing else. I am on an iPhone 6+ iOS 8.1.4 and I think you may have deployed this for iOS 9.0+ so I'm guessing that's the issue?
Thanks for coming back with feedback, Tyler! That's strange though, app is supported iOS 8.0+ and it should work normal. Have you tried to restart or re-download? It would be helpful to get more details. I will take a note and see if anyone else reports same issue.
@good-karma Of course! I believe @konelectric has the same issue as well. Not sure what iOS he is running. I Just noticed that iTunes has the app tagged for iOS 9+ (to the right beside the app name) so I'm thinking this is the issue. Maybe a deployment setting you can change? Large iTunes Screenshot

This is going to make the mobile experience so much smoother.
One thing I am noticing is that not all formatting that I did in one of my posts is translating properly in mobile. Looks fine on the site, but the mobile app is having issues with it.
Yes, as I mentioned in post this is initial release for iOS was submitted to review 20+days ago and review took long time and during that time we had number of updates that affected only Android users, since Google Play review takes couple of hours. I have pushed those changes to iOS as well, you should have update as soon as review is done.
Are you on Android or iOS? As of last update Android should have edit post option, but iOS doesn't have that update yet. As for SoundCloud I just checked out Android, it seem to show and play on me. I will push few improvements on Monday.
It surely can take over mobile social network experience. With consistent update, and help/feedback of users, we can evolve this to something bigger, something which never exists before, right on your mobile you can have fun and earn at the same time. Exciting times are ahead...

Thanks for pointing that out. I think if there is a need, I can make this work with both password and private keys. Added to features list!

Thanks for pointing out, markdown I think can be improved, even markdown toolbar need better layout. Which formats gave you issue on preview?
Some font sizing, as well as dividing lines. Also the code for SoundCloud doesn't show up at all.

iOS here, and I was able to compared to a friend's android - and the Android showed more than what my iOS did.

I am having issues with upvoting in the app. The app freezes when ever I try but I can close out, reopen, and see that the upvote was registered.

Once I think we have windows phone app, it can easily be used on Windows 10 desktops. We will see where it takes us. Thanks
