Saving The world ( A short steemjet story)

The world was coming to an end. Everyone and everything were in chaos. The earthlings knew they were closed to being doomed. The four stones holding the foundation of earth had been stolen by a group of people known as the commoners and lived in a different planet similar to earth. The pillars of earth were threatening to fall down any minute, crushing everything in it's part. The people from Hart had stolen the stone because they felt earth's population was too much. They wanted to kill everyone and have control over the new set of people that will dominate the new earth.

_{Earth about to be destroyed}

On every screen on earth a timer was been shown. It was a countdown to earth's destruction. If those stones weren't replaced back to their positions before the end of the countdown, the world was doomed for sure.

The president's secretary suddenly rushed into his office, she was out of breath when she uttered the words "Some people said they could help sir" and at once the president summoned them. A group of young men and women stood in front of the president, they all had the same scribbling on their shirt @steemjet.

The president wasted no time in briefing them on all they needed to know to get the stones back.

The four pillars of earth was scattered in four different continents around the world. The stones were what held held the foundation of the earth, avoiding it from falling to the ground.
The president watched as dimimp dispatch his SF soldiers Leaving behind @lordjames @afolwalex @ubongj and @mydivathings. He has kept them for the most important part of the job, they were to retrieve the most important of Stone, the blue stone which was at the other planet similar to earth.. Hart. Dimimp wished them the best of luck before sending them off.

_{Flying to go save earth}

Three hours and counting, the world was silent, everyone was hoping for the best. The guys had successfully infiltrated the building in Hart and were currently heading for the Stone.

"Alright where to now? " ubongj asked, his hands on his ears. The guys had asked Divathings to remain on her space jet to give them directions as she was an expert in computers.

"I can detect lots of firepower ahead guys be careful" she warned and a smile creep onto lordjames face. Everyone knew he loves it loud and didn't dissapoint as he quickly brought out his gun and sent shots in the air, making the once quiet hall way filled with gun shots. Afolwalex and Ubongj quickly brought out their weapons too, shooting at different directions, each bullet hitting it's mark.

The gun fight didn't look like it would end soon and they knew it as more and more men kept coming.

"Go, go get the stone" lordjames said to afolwalex.

"What about you guys? "

"We will hold them off" ubongj replied reloading his gun.

Afikwakex quickly left the duo and ran deep into the hallway. The stone was in a room at the far end of the hallway. Just as he made a turn into another Corner, two of the gunmen saw him and quickly went for their guns but they were late as afolwalex sent a dagger straight to the first man's gut and with the same speed he quickly brought out his gun and emptied the round on the second guard.

_{Afolwalex in the hallway}

In front of him was the door and he cautiously opened it expecting lots of gun fire but was surprised to find the room void of anyone and right there right in the middle of the room was the stone in a kind of compartment.

"errmm mydivathings what do I do, there's a timer on it? " he asked..

"Relax, just open it and tell me why you see" she replied..

"Okay I see a green and red wire, that's all"

"I can't really know what we are dealing with from here" she continued.. " you just have to make a decision yourself, you have to cut one of the wires"

"What? What's if I go for the wrong one? Won't it like explode? " afolwalex asked.

*"Well maybe? "

"Maybe? "... "Okay red usually means stop and green go.. So maybe to stop it I need to cut the red wire" he murmured to himself and slowly brought his scissors towards the red wire but stopped midway and went for the green wire then there was an explosion..

"Yeah that's more like it" lordjames screamed excitedly.. He had threw a mini bomb towards the enemies and that had killed all of them.

"Alright guys you need to get out of there" divathings said to them.

"But what about Afolwalex? " ubongj asked.

"Right behind you" Afolwalex replies holding the blue Stone.

Back on earth the remaining three stones has been found and placed at it's pillars. The countdown was at thirty when the last space force returned.

The voices of the people filled the air... They had been saved... Earth has been saved by steemjet.
