STEEMJET MUSICAL APPROVED PROPOSAL

Greeting to all members of the steemjet community and every lover of music. The steemjet continues to be a fast growing community that supports different talent and in that spirit we bring to you the first ever steemjet music competition titled STEEMJET MUSICALS proposed by @langford and supported by the steemjet music department. @dimimp asked how much it will cost to run the project so I have given the estimate and breakdown below.

REQUIREMENTS AS SUBMITTED BY LANGFORD AND APPROVED BY THE MUSIC DEPARTMENT AND CEO TO RUN THE COMPETITION

• An estimate of 2200 steems was made to cover for the cost of the contest. The breakdown is as follow.

• 1st position- 200 steems.

• 2nd position- 150 steems .

• 3rd position- 100 steems.

• 4th and 5th positions- 80 steems each.

• 5 high quality headsets for the five judges -50 steems each (250 steems).

• Payment of judges for internet data used during each stages and also for work done- 800 steems (50 steems for each of the five judes multiplied by the number of stages).

• Payment for the official graphic designer for the contest- 50 steems.

• Part of the remaining steems will be shared to contestants who made the top 10 and 20 picks but got eliminated, also those that submitted good entries but couldn’t make the cut will receive little amounts of steem as compensation.

DETAILS OF CONTEST

• The five selected judges to oversee the competition are @adamzi , @etemi , @mrprecious , @langford , @yourmercury

• The official graphics designer is @juderoyal

• Contest will commence as soon as funds are received

STAGES OF COMPETITION

First stage

The first stage is the audition stage and this will see various contestants submit video entries within a period of seven days using the #steemjetmusical

Second stage

In this stage the judges will give their top 20 picks from the videos submitted in the audition stage and these top 20 contestants will go on to submit their second video entries for the competition.

Third stage

In this stage the judges will pick top ten entries submitted by the contestants which means 10 contestants will be dropped and the competition will proceed to the semi final stage. The top ten contestants will be requested to drop another video entry for review.

Fourth stage

From the videos submitted by the judges will select three entries while members of the spaceforce and the community will select two entries with votes. These five entries will proceed to the final stage of the competition.

Final stage

In the final stage the top five contestants will be asked to drop 2 videos, one will be their original song and the other will be their personal composition for the official steemjet anthem. The judges will review these videos and release results for 1st place, 2nd place and third place respectively.
