This week I decided I needed help judging this contest. There was way too much talent for myself alone to choose the winner! I want everyone to win!!! So I decided to have a little get together with some of my friends and neighbours and listen to all of the entries together with food and wine of course! 🍷 😉 we scored each entry individually from 1-10 and then add up the highest scores.

This week the prizes were split up as follows

10 STEEM - Contest winner

Bonus Prizes:

10 STEEM - Best performance that is not singing or playing an instrument (1 entry)

10 STEEM - Best child performance (under 16yrs old) (No entries)

Well there were no performances entered by anyone under 16 unfortunately 😔 and only one entry that was not singing or playing a musical instrument so by default this prize goes to @mashiliyanage with her dance aerobics performance below. Congratulations! @mashiliyange 🎉

And now the Contest winners. It was very, very close this week. I cant believe I have misplaced the score sheet so you could see just how close!! Literally a point or 2 between entries! I received some wonderful entries this week and I hope that Steemit Talent Contest continues to grow.

Steemit Talent Contest is going to change slightly. Now the weekly prizes will be changed to go down to 5th place. Every 12 weeks the winners from each week will battle it out and your votes will decide the winner. The quarterly prize is yet to be determined. At the end of the year the 4 quarterly winners will once again battle it out to see who will be the ultimate winner of Steemit Challenge Contest Season 1!! Once the contest gets going the prizes can be increased and the quarterly finals and yearly final prizes will be a really nice ones! Praying for some whale sponsorship! Let me know your thoughts. This contest is for the community here so Im open to suggestions on any changes or improvements you would like to see.
