Steemit Sandwich Contest Week 52 : Classic Falafel

This is my first entry into the contest, and I have chosen a very easy recipe for all levels. From here I want to thank @jaybird for taking a year doing this contest. Thank you. I have already copied several of your recipes and I hope you enjoy mine.

1 lb dry garbanzo beans- Use dry beans!
1 small onion, roughly chopped
1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
3-5 cloves garlic (I prefer roasted garlic cloves)
1 1/2 tbsp flour or chickpea flour
1 3/4 tsp salt
2 tsp ras al nout
1 tsp ground coriander
1/4 tsp black pepper
1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
Pinch of ground cardamom
Vegetable oil for frying , I used sunflower.

for Tzatziki sauce dressing:

1 cup Greek whole milk yogurt.
1 English cucumber, seeded, finely grated and drained.
2 cloves garlic, finely minced.
1 teaspoon lemon zest plus 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice.
2 tablespoons chopped fresh dill.
Salt and freshly cracked black pepper.

I regularly make a ton of falafel, but the measures are adapted

Grind garbanzos directly with the blender or chopper with onions, garlic, parsley, fresh cilantro and a cup of water. Mix until you get a thick texture.

then, with two spoons, we will form small balls of the dough and we will fry them
