Throughout my childhood I have been drawn to 2 animals. Yes I did/do love all animals but the ones that stood out for me was the fox and orca, aka killer whale.

For some reason I was always able to spot a red fox, whether I was on the bus on my way to school, farther out in the bush or driving around here and there.
As a kid, the colors of the red fox were most beautiful. The tail was just so furry and big! There was nothing like it. And that cute pointy nose. I was in love with it so much that I wrote a report on this little red creature for a school project.

As I got older the fox still stayed with me and I couldn't figure out why. Then my dear friend, @earthmother, told me about animal medicine, spiritual guides. So I looked it up, Fox medicine, and I found more than I could ever hold in my brain lol.
What I got from it was what I was needing at the time. "When the fox appears in your life, it may indicate that you need to pay attention to people or circumstances that may be deceiving or tricking you into going down a path that does not necessarily serves you." source This part I can say that it is most true and covers 80% of my life and now that I know this I can easily spot it and deal with it.
A few other things I found is the hair and fur represent fertility and energy. With the fur being so important to the fox to help make it look bulkier, for a person, if change is needed on certain things, change the hair. It activates the fox medicine and the magic of shape shifting. How many times have I change my hairstyle....From coloring it all sorts of colors (blue, green, orange, purple, red, black etc) to cutting it short, shaving the sides, to the next idea of growing it long and wanting to have dreads. I love how the looks change me and it always worked out.

One that also hit home was the medicine for family. They are great protectors of family. I always believed in family and tried to keep it together. Fought for family and defended family. I still do but it does get tiring. I am a mother of 3 and for these children I protect them with all my being.
There is just so much I can find about it and it all hits home.

So I know I am making this post to be supper long but I have to tell you this one thing I thought to be super cool.

I was driving out to visit @earthmother. On my way I was following quite the slow pick up truck, I was a bit impatient but couldn't pass him as the road is curvy and not so wide as it is more of a forested area.
I spotted a fox walking on the side of the road to my left. It looked like he was scared of the vehicle in front of me, I thought he was going to run back in the forest and I slowed down incase he decided to run in front of me but instead, he sat down and looked at me. We made eye contact as I drove by slowly. I wanted to stop but that could have been dangerous with other vehicles. The eye contact was strong. He saw me. Not my vehicle, but me and it's like he 'met' me, or something. It was a special moment.

And so this is the reason behind foxyspirit. For my lifelong interactions, to the ties I have with fox medicine and for the beautiful creature that it is.
I almost forgot to add, if I were to have a different name, what would it be? Honestly I couldn't think of one. This came to mind right away and worked the first time. It was meant to be. I was not capable of thinking of anything else.

To finish this challenge I nominate @maverickinvictus. I have no clue what that means. Perhaps because I am also french that I have not a clue, but I have been asking myself this for a while now lol.
@darkmrmystic. I am curious as to what kind of dark this is. A mysterious dark?? hm...got me wondering :p
@papacrusher, the only thing I can think of that goes behind your name is a father and rock crusher so a miner perhaps? please enlighten me lol. I feel as though this is far from the truth lol.
@pranithreddy. I am not even sure how to pronounce it so I really do not know what this means. I would be delighted to know where this comes from.
@scorpii. I miss you my friend and can't wait for you to come back. I hope all is well and as I think about you I wonder about the idea behind scorpii. Is it because of your astrology sign? Scorpio... I am a scorpio too :)
