Free homeschool curriculum and resources edition 2steemCreated with Sketch.

I have decided to dedicate one blog a week to free homeschool curriculum and resources this is the second edition. You can find edition 1 here https://steemit.com/homeschool/@tecnosgirl/free-homeschool-curriculum-and-resources-edition-1

I help run a page on Facebook with the same name as in the title. A friend came up with the idea and asked me to help run it because us like many families that home school or want to home school don't have thousands of dollars to spend on curriculum and are lucky if we have even a few hundred dollars to spend on curriculum so what we did was scour the internet and tried to gather all the free resources in one place.

When you don't have a lot of money and you are looking for free resources for homeschooling it can be nerve racking to say the least. Sometimes a family gets lucky and finds the right fit for their child or their children, sometimes it isn't that simple sometimes what is working for one child doesn't work for another, so having options to try and to discover what works is really an awesome thing. We have many more options than we use to have. For that I am grateful.

Today's first site I am sharing has educational video and games sometimes the best way to teach a concept is through videos or games, who said learning can't be fun. Mostly today the focus will be on math and English resources.

This is fantastic tecnosgirl!!! I was a teacher myself at a Dutch high school (history) and I know how important it is to give children the opportunity to learn, even if they can't go to school. Thank you so much, I admire your efforts!!
Upvoted 100%!!

A good cause that you are doing for these children. I am sure many that cannot afford to send their children will find this useful and use these resources. Keep up the good work here. Up voted and will follow to see how this mapped out.
God Bless

Great information.
Some of these are great even if you aren't home schooling. I will be printing out some of the math sheets tomorrow.

Darryl @dadview

yes it is, I think next time I will focus on some high school resources

Hi, thanks for sharing these resources. I would love you to continue posting them please. I hope that I'll be homeschooling my daughter when she's at that stage. It's an argument that her dad and I are still having 😂.
I'm very keen to look through the resources you have and see what's available.
Thanks.

So awesome!!! We just started homeschooling!!! I am excited to follow your posts!

Hope these resources help. I know that all the extra resources for free that we can use has helped. This is our last year of homeschooling as our baby is in his senior year. And I thought maybe I should share my knowledge here before he is done, because one he is done I will likely retire from staying up to date on all this stuff and just be there as someone to encourage other home schoolers.

Thank you for these resources! We will put them to good use.

I'm excited to put this to use. Thanks for sharing. We should create a homeschool collective on steemit.

there is kind of a loose collective going on, but would love to be apart of a project like that. Stay tuned I have a ton of other resources I plan to share over the next few weeks. Years of sources....
