Special guest at work? A fun day it was.
TAKE CARE OF YOUR FAMILY'S FUTURE EVEN IF YOU WON'T BE PHYSICALLY PART OF IT...
A life cover and death policy selling company is celebrating its 100th year this year. My school happens to be amongst its loyal and valuable supporters. To celebrate the 100 years of providing good quality services to its members, the company sent one of it representatives to our school. I took a quick selfie...
The chap was quite nice, energetic, funny and genuine; not to mention very persuasive. I tried to take a sneak selfie with him but he just didn't keep still; the results thereof are a blurry picture. As part of the celebration he briefed the staff on a new policy that has more freedom and flexibility compared to the others in circulation. It is extremely important for a teacher or any other government employee to have both funeral and life cover. Should anything happen to us, we can rest assured that our families will be covered by the best. Even in disability or in death, we must still provide for our loved once.
At the beginning of his presentation he wanted an assistant to help him better demonstrate his presentation. I avoided all eye contact with him during that time but yet he chose me. I was his "brother" in the presentation and helped wherever he needed me to. It was quite fun I must admit. I rather enjoyed myself.
After the presentation he asked who amongst us wanted to take out this new cover. I was the only one with my hand up. I am used to standing out from the other teachers during such events so I was not surprised at all. My colleagues are quite shy. I saw around six of us signing up although only I had my hand up when the presenter asked who was interested. Again I wasn't surprised. They always do that. Here's the look I gave them afterwards
I received some nice gifts from the presenter as tokens of his appreciation. He gave me chocolate biscuits for being his "brother". I got a selfie stick and a nice and very warm small blanket for signing up as his client. I'm going to enjoy the blankie so much seeing that winter is right around the corner. Here is a picture of my prices.
Today was fun at work. I enjoy days such as these to alleviate some of the pressure we are consistently under as educators, especially during examinations.

That's what a true man does.
Your a smart man to get insurance to provide for your family. It really can make a difference. The proceeds of a life insurance policy allowed me to pay for my son's college education.
Wow. That is so encouraging. I can rest easy knowing that should anything happen to me, my wife and kids will be covered.
