BELATED HAPPY TEACHERS DAY! 👨‍🏫 👩‍🏫

I hope I'm not too late to greet all teachers in the world a HAPPY TEACHERS DAY! 💕

The celebration took place last Thursday, October 5, 2017. My team visited different schools for our handwashing campaign. The first school that we went was in Gothong Memorial Elementary School in Cebu City. Most of the students were busy preparing and buying some flowers for their teachers.

There were some vendors waiting for the students to buy their roses 🌹

It's always a practice here in the Philippines to give something to our loved ones which include our teachers. It's always common for us to offer flowers to them. Some students gave something to their teacher like balloons or chocolates. In my case, I'm quite stingy when I was a student I only gave a flower to my teacher which only cost 5 pesos. Lol! 😂
But tho it's cheap, it's the thought that counts. 😅🤗

My team went to Lagtang Elementary School, and everyone were so busy giving items and offer flowers to their teachers

The teachers were sitting in front of the students on stage while all the students were serenading a lovely song to them

some students were waiting for their turn to offer or give balloons or something nice to their teachers

and headed to our last school in Pardo Elementary School Ext. we weren't able to witness their teachers day program because it was already 1pm when we came, usually all school programs take place in the morning

But tho we weren't able to witness the program. We were still lucky, you know why??????

Because of LECHON! (Roasted pork) 😋😋😋

I didn't expect that they will let us eat because thinking that the food they prepared were for the teachers. But good to know the teachers were done eating already and they let us have some portion of it. How kind of them! ☺️☺️☺️

I suppose to study education course way back in college, but I didn't pursue it because there are already 3 teachers in my family. So I decided to try something different which is nursing. Being a nurse will not only train me to help alleviate patient's sickness. But it also teach me to become an effective educator just like teachers. ☺️

Teachers are our 2nd parents so I'm really thankful for them in instilling knowledge and helpful information in our minds that could either hone our skills or teach us to be respectful and polite.

Without them I wouldn't be the person that I am right now.
