RABBIT LEARNT LESSON ON BEING GREEDY
The one thing we should never be is greedy.
Many years ago there was a rabbit that was very greedy, he had found a farmers field full of carrots.
The farmer had put wood around his field and there was no way that the rabbit could get into the field.
He did not tell the other rabbits about the field because he was very greedy and did not want to share the carrots with anyone.
He walked up and down all round this wooden fence looking for a place to get in. One day the rabbit found a little hole where he could fit through. He was so pleased and started eating and eating until his tummy was so full that he could hardly move.
He went to the hole and wanted to go home but because of his big tummy he could not get out and was caught in the field.
The next day the farmer came along and saw that someone had eaten a lot of his carrots, but he did not know how.
He went home and started thinking about it. That night he realised that there must be a hole somewhere in the fence, and would start looking for it the next day.
The rabbit was very worried that the farmer would catch him in the field and the farmer would kill him. He sat thinking. Everyone always say I am greedy; maybe they are right as this may cause my death.
By this time his tummy had shrunk and he got through the hole and went home. When his mother saw him she was very pleased as she was looking for him and could not find him.
She asked him where have you been and he told her how he had learnt his lesson about being greedy.
The mother called all the rabbits together and told them what had happened and they knew that the farmer would fix the hole the next day.
The little rabbit took them to where the field was and started passing just enough carrots through the hole so that every rabbit had a carrot to eat. They all went home and had full tummies for once, this was how he had decided to fix his problem of being greedy and sharing with others so that everyone was happy.
This was such a good lesson he had learnt that greediness is not good at all, and he could have been killed by the farmer for being so greedy. The next day the farmer found the hole and fixed it.
Then he could not find anything in the field that had taken his carrots. Of course no more carrots were lost after he had fixed the hole but the little rabbit had learnt a good lesson.
People must be the same we must share what we have, as greediness is a very bad thing.
The most important thing to remember is this. If we give we will always have what we need this is just the way the world work.

Greed is a bottomless pit which exhausts the person in an endless effort to satisfy the need without ever reaching satisfaction.
