It is important to get followers, but you also want the correct type of followers. Followers that are truly interested in your blog and what you write, and not the โ€œI-follow-you-if-you-follow-meโ€ kind of type. And to attract the right type of followers, you need to write godlike comments.

  • In each challenge a post from a fellow minnow will be featured.
  • The challenge is to write an amazing comment related to that post.
  • I will resteem the post.
  • I will give it a 100% upvote.

This will be part of my campaign to help other Minnows. The #minnowsupportproject helped me and I want to help others.

Hey, warm welcome to you Faleye Oluwadamilare!

May I request you to put a video for how to correctly pronounce your name? I'm from a different continent (Asia) with no clues to pronounce it right and I really hate to call anyone incorrect from the very beginning of conversation. I think I too would like to call you Dray instead. So let's better be friends and allow me to call you Dray ๐Ÿ˜Š

I really loved your pictures here, you look dashingly smart! Looking forward to read your posts where you can find plenty of space to unfold and express yourself freely. May your efforts to spread motivational energy all around help uplift the spirit of the people of your country in these difficult times.

I'd certainly like to connect with you over Discord or Steemit Chat. I too have got the same ID every where. Let's find each other ๐Ÿ˜Š . Yes, I understand, you have already got a big network of amazing friends but just like you, I too love meeting people and learning from them. You seems to be pretty inspiring to me.

I wish you attain new heights here and in your life ahead (and I hope you won't feel any phobia for such supreme heights)! Keep climbing your fears to reach a new high in our life! Wishing you success!

Entry confirmed!
Best of luck.

Yes this is awesome.

Upvoted and Resteemed.

Oooo I love paid upvotes! :D

Wow this was a great comment bro...glad we both share similar likes ... Still trying to pronounce your name here as well ๐Ÿ˜ƒ ,glad steemit could bring all together and we could share our thoughts in the same community... Glad and its nice meeting you my new friend

First of all, welcome to the Matrix, @dray91eu - a fair warning upfront, though - SteemIt is HIGHLY addictive and there is no known cure at this point :P

Like you, I was skeptical at first when joining SteemIt - I didn't think it would be worth my time, I was scared of failing, I thought my writing would suck, and I thought I'd be the laughing stock of the community.

I quickly proved myself wrong. SteemIt has helped me tremendously - I was able to open up about my previous life and how I used to be a heroin addict (something I NEVER would have shared with anyone), I learned how to become a more humble person and put others first, but most importantly - my faith in humanity was restored.

People on SteemIt have shown me a side of humanity that I thought was lost forever. You may have noticed this too. People doing random acts of kindness is a common thing. Here, it's an economy of thanks - we share and show our appreciation by giving, instead of expecting to receive.

It's a beautiful thing.

We seem to share similar hobbies as well - I LOVE teaching others and helping them improve, learning is as important to my survival as the blood flowing through my veins, and I also am a web designer! Maybe we could link up - I'm always looking for graphic designers to send some work to ;)

Funnily enough I'm also an acrophobic - I am absolutely TERRIFIED of heights. And needles. The two of them scare the shit out of me.

I would like to say that if you ever need guidance, help, or someone to chat with - I, along with the rest of my group #TheUnmentionables, would be more than happy to help. We are all about community, friendship, and GIVING to others.

A very belated "Welcome" to SteemIt, and I hope you succeed at everything you work towards my friend. We need more positive and motivated individuals like you to help make this place even better than it already is.

Much love - Panda.

Since joining Steemit a year ago, my experience has been wonderful and I have met a lot of supportive and helpful Steemians.

Lol ... Talking about been terrified of height , only if you could see my shaking legs when looking down from high buildings, its always kinda funny... I actually don't get scared of seeing blood, just that my imagination of the incident afterwards is what scares me most ... Glad seeing you around bro... Steem on!!! Keep the steem flag flying ๐Ÿ˜ƒ ... Nice community you have got to show you love here bro

Wonderful comment. Spot on...u pull those words out of my mouth and my ass. Bravo!

Such inspiration humanity restored. Glad you bounced back mate. You're a champ!

Candid, as always.

"SteemIt is HIGHLY addictive and there is no known cure at this point"

There is not, and i require a fix of the highest order, that is why I cultivate certain company and pursue individuals and communities most stimulating to me, they contain a dialogue sorely lacking in most modern arena that has been designed to sedate and goad the masses into a pen. I would rail against such if it would yield a connection, if it were not more worthwhile to seek the company of those like-minded who would risk honesty and vulnerability in stead of vulgar homogeneity. I require meaningful dialogue, and I encourage it in others.

Thanks Pando, upvote for you, STEEM ON!

Confirmed!
Great man, that is some comment.

You know I put some passion and love into my work <3

Thanks man!

Brilliant comment buddy.

Support for our friend @fatpandadesign ;-)

Also give my small upvote to @danielsaori for his efforts.

Cheers.

Awesome comment!

My vote is for Panda.

These comments are just awesome! I couldn't ask for a better group of friends - no, FAMILY, on this platform. Thank you all for always having my back and supporting me - I try my best to do everything I can to make it the best place possible for you all to have fun, grow, connect, and just be yourselves.

I love all of you <3

Great comment, you deserve more upvotes.

Awesome my friend!

Well said :)

When I first talked to this boy @dray91eu, I knew instantly that he will do great on here. I still remember our first conversation and you said that you have not done your introduction yet. I am happy that you have completed your introduction. This reminds me that, legends do not need an Intro:). You are friendly and always ready to lend a hand, believe me boy, if you continue like this you will surely be on the top one day. You have the virtue to be a good leader and after all you are a real fighter.
I like your spirit to write about motivational post. This is a way to keep Steemians friends motivated and to have hope in what they are doing and expecting :) Good work.
Welcome to Steemit! Just like you I am in love with Steemit too and professor, congratulation on your graduation, your efforts have been paid off. Patience and hard work are all that we need. Best of luck in your endeavours and remember me when you become Big!
This is my entry post :)

Welcome @dray91eu

To a community that accepts and promotes individuals who's goal is to be successful and grow, while learning new skills and making friends from a diversified range of places you could never think to imagine.

What makes your content special is you, and the experiences you have to share with our members.

I'm a massive fan of sports not only because I like to see skill and athletic ability but that you can take a group of people from totally different backgrounds that may not even speak the same language to share in the enjoyment of a common interest.

Steemit is a sport for all to share and enjoy where you can feel comfortable talking about anything you desire.

Welcome to the team :)

Confirmed!

I would like to give 10 steem to the winner

Let's see what we can do with this.

What do you do when your dreams of being an Iron Man are dashed by your fear of height? Some people would feel Justified in giving up their dreams, others Jump from the cliff and change direction, Meet this teaching Super Hero from Nigeria who, if you ask nicely, might do some Graphic Design for you!

Intrigued? Check him out HERE

Confirmed!
Now go and chase some votes.

based on other valid entries, i guess i misunderstood the task. i thought we were supposed to get other people to visit Dray's post with our awesome intro to his intro. my bad. best of luck to the final 3.

Better luck next time, Mike. ๐Ÿ‘

Seeing how the upvoting works I think it doesnโ€™t make sense to keep it part of this contest. Going for a pure judged decision to pick the winner. What you think of that?

Upgoat

For sure i need to go check him out now

awesome man

Steemit is a community of diverse people, race, culture and or religion. When I was introduced to Steemit back in June I know I'm in the right tract especially when I read about how Steemit works. It took me awhile to understand how Steemit work, but, life on Steemit is not as easy as everyone thought it to be.

At first, as curious as Icarus, I wrote or composed a poem to test it, and so I posted it! As the eyes of an eagle eager to see things as bright as the sun, zeroing on my earnings like I need to wait for seconds or minutes, waiting to pop-up a dollar like a magic popcorn, I was wrong, so wrong! The .01 earning stayed there for a while, eager to "feel" the push to earn more didn't materialize! Oh well, I thought to myself, "just keep on writing", echoing in my head!

Though, I'm a struggling Minnow just like everyone else, and I know who I am, I know what I want, I know what I'm looking for now that I'm here. I can tell you how lucky I am on this platform. I don't have much to wave my portfolio in writing, but what I do have are a very particular set of skills in writing, skills I think I have acquired for many years writing on different blogging sites.

One thing that I have learned from joining Steemit is that when YOU Steemit it YOU will definitely Win it!

Just keep on writing!

Confirmed!
Lovely comment

thanks danielsaori!

Keep steeming while enjoying the ride! :D

Yes tegoshei!

Kuya @iwrite will make big on Steemit. I believe you can contribute way so much on the site. They just have to trust you! Way to go!

Thanks bloghound!

@iwrite is one of those who are passionate about Steemit. In fact, I used to ignore his post on Facebook about Steemit back then. But his passion in posting about Steemit convinced me to jump in this blogging bandwagon. That's why I am grateful to him. I became a Steemian because of him, and I am loving this wonderful blogging place.

Thanks much iyanpol12!

You are welcome sir.

Panalo na 'to. hehe. Agree all of your words, Sir. As a newbie I feel it and sometimes I'd like to give up, but yes, keep writing!

Thanks lebron2016!

It is hard and confusing at first but I know all the hard work that we put into something will pay off later. Thanks for this comment :)

Thanks holdmydrink!

@iwrite is one of the best mentor who taught me how to be more effective in steemit. He never tired of guiding newbies who want learn how to start at steemit.

Thanks bobiecayao!

Welcome to Steemit, man, its nice how you went about the part of verification that says one has to draw the Steemit logo somewhere in the pic and write Steemit.com and stuff like that.

Looking forward to seeing posts about all the things you've promised and have said you're interested in. Tell you what, man, we share my most valued hobby which is swimming (damn I love that crap).
Its also nice your phobia for anatomy and blood, I heaved a sigh of relief when I saw that one, it leaves me rest assured that we didn't just admit a serial killer into Steemit by any chance.

So, welcome, or rather in your native language: Ekabo!
Hello from this side

Entry confirmed!
Great comment you made here mate. Good luck!

Thanks a lot, mate.

Sometimes you have nothing to lose if you try some things and have much to lose if you don't try. Something similiar happened to me, when accidentally tried Steemit three months ago and now i am almost addicted with it, spending many hours per day on it.
Being a social person @dray91eu, steemit is the best place for you to meet new people and make friends, learn new things, practice your love in graphics designing and why not , transfer your knowledge to other people.
Best luck to your country to pass through this difficult time.

Entry confirmed!
Best of luck :)
