This week's edition featured a post from @improv, one of his Punday Monday posts. The theme of the post was Martin Luther King with a challenge to write an MLK related pun. We saw some great participation and some awesome comments. Big thanks to all the participants!

I was without help again this week and had to do all the screening and judging myself. 😃 We had very few contestants who received votes, so I decided to include all comments in the pool to be judged. In total, there were not more than 20 contestants, so not a too big of a job.

Of all the comments there were not too many with an MLK related pun. I have decided to award the 1st prize to @amos-robinson for a well thought of and rather complex pun. Well done on coming up with such a great comment.
2nd prize I will award @davemccoy, for his simple and easy going pun.
I would also like to give a special mention to @mdosev, for his "2 beer or not 2 beer" and to @liverehab for his "solution to recommend AA meetings for people with alkaline problems". :) Well done @amos-robinson, @davemccoy, @mdosev and @liverehab!!

Thank you so much for awarding me 2nd place @danielsaori :) ... I'm not sure I was qualified enough to earn it, but I respect you for liking the way I think!
I also thank you for the upvotes I noticed today and for what you have done for me.
I plan on using your model of creating simple and fun challenges to encourage "newbies" to get more involved early and I would like to train some non-newbies to carry out the effort. We have launched the #newbieresteemday hashtag and I would like to work with others such as you to get newbies attention early. You would be the first that comes to my mind if you would be interested.
Off the top of my head what I'm thinking is something simple that could be promoted as an "addition" to your game. IE... a newbie (under 40 Reputation score) enters your contest and tags his entry in your comment section with #newbieresteemday we will make sure that they get an upvote on their submission for at least $0.05.
And if one of our newbies wins or finishes second, we will also give them $2 and $1 sbd respectively.
All this would be on top of what you do with your other players. Obviously the goal is to get them to start to play your game regularly and by doing that it will increase their fun and make new connections.
I wouldn't expect you to pay anything or do the upvotes, we could handle that... what I would want from you would be to just mention that we are a partner with you in this particular game. It adds credibility to us and at the same time maybe gets you some more players.
