What better way than to kick off your week with a "lekker" lunch! Haha! For those confused by this local South African term, you can find the definition in the photos of this post. We headed down to the seaside suburb of Kalk Bay earlier and took a stroll along the the stretch of the main road to decide where we should have lunch.

We settled on something lekker. Haha! It's the first time I have been there and I have to say, what a vibey spot! It's great because you sit slightly elevated from the road with a perfect view of everything coming and going outside. I opted for a sirloin steak with a sauce combo I have never seen anywhere else and it was so damn good!! It was a blue cheese and red onion sauce! Yum! They also have a selection of really unique "larney milkshakes" which is another SA term for "fancy". The one being a Ferrero rocher milkshake... it was out of this world good!!! It's always fun to discover such fun and character filled places like this and it definitely made a great start to the week! Hope you all had an amazing day too! Mwah!!!
