Steemit DESIGN UPDATE! 📣
Steemit has redesigned the look of posts on feed page as well as the blog page.
The new layout of the feed page now consists of three columns:
- Left column - List of tags
- Middle column - Posts
- Right column - Links
List of tags
They have moved the list of tags on the right side as a primary navigation, which I think will result in more "exploring of the user" as we know from the user behavior study people are most used to finding navigation on the left side of the web page.
Posts
They have redesigned the post layout. It feels cleaner and less busy. Definitely a good update - I really like the new ''bigger" layout you can switch in between with the click on the two lines icon on the top right corner (in the red square on the image).
One thing I really like in this view is that new you can see the full image if it was in portrait mode. Before that, the cover image next to the post was cropped from the top left corner so that it fitt next to the post.
Links
I like the quick links to your blog and wallet so you don't need to go the drop-down menu every time you wanted to go to your blog.
Replays
Replays were also redesigned to match the new design of the posts. Oh, and the color of the blue color for the upvotes and the links got a bit darker (#004EFF).
