Contribute to the community

Post good quality content that is helpful to the community. Something that is of good quality is something valuable, helpful, well compiled and detailed. Make your posts very appetising and worth of someone’s vote.

Engaging or relating with the community through comments on their posts and on the different chart platforms such as Steem chart, discord channel.

Create viable steemit projects a good example is one called STACH which was founded by @ejemai. The whales and dolphins will support you along the way after realising its operation.

Promote Steem/Steemit

Are you promoting Steemit in your home country? Promote Steemit and create a community in your country and advise them to use a particular common tag could be your country name. Encourage your community to create quality content.

Sensitise people about Steem and other cryptocurrency by doing so these get enlightened and perhaps decide to invest in Steem which increases its value. A success of a cryptocurrency depends on the usability that increases the demand thereby making the value of Steem to go up. This is a win-win for all of us here because when the value of Steem increases it attracts more investors in Steem by way of giving them more confidence in it.

Be supportive

There are many newbies on the platform that need a lot of support from the already existing successful Steemians. We’ve done a good job of promoting Steemit and helping many join this platform. I joined this platform 3 months back that is late January. I remember how I use to earn 0.00 Steem dollars on my posts but this did not stop me from Steeming, I kept on with all due patience and determination. I just literary chose to be positive and also just enjoy the other benefits of the platform such as making friends.

Be consistent or active on the platform

Are you active on the platform? Some people join the platform and afterwards go into sleep or become inactive for a long time, may be because they have other businesses they are doing.

Reasons for inactivity

• declining and discouraging prices of Steem. Like of recent that is in the last 2 months Steem went as low as 2.6 US dollars hence this brought about allot of inactivity on the platform where many people literally stopped promoting Steemit and also stopped posting.

• Lack of people to support your content created by giving it a nice up-vote. This happens to mostly the Newbies who join the platform with a lot of expectations being rewarded with huge sums of money for their content created. They get disappointed when it doesn’t work out in their way. The reality is that when you are still a newbie you need to be patient and keep posting.

Be courageous and Steem on

Comment more on other peoples posts to gain visibility and create relationships with other steemians on the platform who later on start supporting you by following you, read and up-vote your posts.

Buy Steem and power up

Purchase some Steem and power up in order to improve your vote worth and also for purposes of gaining influence on the platform. Am not saying that this increases your reputation. Don’t get me wrong. The higher Steem power the more influence someone has in terms of curation. Investing in Steem and powering increases your vote value and you’re earning capacity on the curation rewards.

For this to work out you must always vote and curate on good quality posts created by fellow steemians.

Connect and Relate with people on the available chart platforms such as Steemit chart. Discord.

This is a key in your growth on the platform as these become your followers who later on start supporting you for your contributions on the platform.

Always read through fellow steemians posts as this gives you ideas on what to post about as well. So don’t get stuck asking yourself

what should I post about today?

Just read through others posts and this will motivate you to design your posts in an outstanding way with great ideas incorporated in your post.

Provide good quality comments on other steemians content.

Content creators love it so much to have feedback from what they have created as this acts as proof of whether their content they have published has been of help to someone on the platform. Leaving a comment on their post acts as an assessment of their efforts. You as well can earn a good up-vote from them when you drop a quality comment. I know you might be asking yourself this question

What is a good comment?

• It is one that is relevant to what the post is about.
• It is one that supplements on the publishers post.
• A good comment expresses appreciation to the publisher that what he has posted is of help to you and the entire community.
