Something Wrong in the 'New' Feed

I was browsing new photography, which is one of the most popular categories. I found something unusual.
The 'new' feed typically displays the posts newest-to-oldest. Well, look at this screenshot.
See anything wrong?sonethings_amiss.png
It goes from 13 minutes to 16 hours. I find it hard to believe that there were no posts tagged in photography for over 15 hours.
Scrolling down, it's '16 hours' (not turtles) all the way down.
What's up with that?
