PROJECT: AFFO
The Affordable Housing Initiative-
We all know the term "Crowdfund" I'm about to turn that on its head with Steemit.
Affo is a project that will bring cheap affordable housing to low income families and second chance individuals. We have secured a means of acquiring "fixer upper" properties for 10-20% their assessed value, instead of being greedy like the rest of the business world we wish to pass these profits on to others by providing very inexpensive housing to those in need. We have 10k of our own cash ready to purchase our first property, unfortunately that leaves us little to renovate that property without taking out debt on the asset.
We have a modest goal of putting a minimum of 3 families in homes by the end of 2016!

I will be doing a multi-part campaign. This first post was to test the response from the community and put this idea out there, so far community response has been wonderful. The next post ( in 24hours) I will provide more info on the team and more on our plan/goals (as well as our company site which is being built as I write). This project is being launched locally first in Sarasota/Bradenton FL where home prices are skyrocketing and homelessness is at an all-time high
