Change is within! Community of People or bots? "Organic votes" Vs "dust votes"
SteemIt Ecosystem:
curation, delegation, researching,
outsourcing, leading, supporting...

I've come across one good post What Are You Doing For Steemit? by @hitmeasap and initially tried to reply to him there, but it got somewhat lengthy. Thus I've decided to transfer it in here and make it into new blog post.
Although question made there (in title and body of post) seems more like rhetorical and @hitmeasap mostly answers it himself and doesn't expect others to give direct answers nor do any "dick size contest" - it is a good question which makes people think and encourage to answer it at least for one own self, if not for whole public.
There ARE good sincere and perhaps still silly naive newcomers (especially from developing countries) who do believe that all those "highly upvoted" posts in Trending section - are really upvoted for their "cool" Content. then they strive to achieve at least some part of such success, not realizing the actual "kitchen", i.e. how the whole system works for those "trending" posts (aka "dust votes"). but after a while when they see that no matter what they do and how much they try - their own SAME style / kind of post do NOT get that much attention ... then they get frustrated, confused disillusioned and eventually either leave for good or just become inactive. because they probably can't figure it out: "WHY I do not get the same results?! even though I create same kind of posts (as those in so called "Trending" / "Hot") no less "Cool" or interesting, may be even much better..."
I bet many may even never understand, what are they doing wrong or different? because they still BELIEVE that it is an "Alternative Social Media" platform, where every and anyone may get Rewarded for Content Creation (aka "Monetazing Digital Content") where everyone is being evaluated mainly (if not only) by the QUALITY of the Content they generate, by their efforts, SINCERITY.
Seriously! Many people in other countries and cultures, mentality (set of mind) etc. really not so much sophisticated and "street wise" (or in this case - "internet wise") to fully grasp the state of affairs here, how things work: that it is actually more like rather de facto INVESTMENT platform! Not just some fun a la "TIkTok" style where one just upload their simple Content and get rewarded (with Populatiry etc.). Where they can do it FOR FREE, i.e. are NOT asked to practically PAY for creating, uploading and sharing it - unlike here on SteemIt after recent changes (i.e. HF20), even though it is paid not in real money but in some virtual "currency" as RC / VP.
"What am I gonna do?"
These are very true words by @hitmeasap from his post:
I do this because ... I care about the newcomers. I want to help to build Steemit from the bottom to the top, and this is what I believe is for the best.
I want to change Steemit. I don't want this place to be filled with greed and filled with feelings that the rich are the only ones being successful here. I want to change this, and for that, I feel that I need to be the change I want to see.
To expect the Change to happen - one has to BECOME that Change. In whatever capacity he / she may do it according to personal means, skills, abilities. Not everybody can afford to INVEST into SteemIt. In fact many do not even know well enough how and where to buy it. However everyone may contribute with own efforts to that Change.
I can say for myself that so far I only do what I can: Create Awareness, stir up that Change!
Help to get the message across, participate in discussions occurring in comments after other sincere people posts. Also trying to do that "finding undervalued Steemians", give them some support, upvotes whenever possible - that's within capacity of even those with low SP / VP. after all this whole SteemIt project supposed to be centered around the GOOD Content, right? Not just some random silly stuff from one's daily life, from the street, with couple of sentences added as description and then upvoted by an army of "fan-club" (aka "curation trails") or but vote-bots. LOL
After all,
We ARE the Change!
It is the most common tendency to Externalize, i.e. expect from others to be a Change makers.
Everybody wants and tries to Change others, or environment, circumstances, surroundings, jobs, even governments.
While actually it is a hardest thing in life and in the world: Change inside, withing oneself.
Many find it unbearable to handle such an austerity and give up.
Others, strong in character and spirit - overcome their own inertness and lack of determination.
Even if we may not "get rich" from our activities on SteemIt, we shall learn and practice that tough routine of trying to CHANGE Within! Which gives and Intrinsic Value no any money in the whole wide world can ever buy! :)
I hope this makes sense and would appreciate the replies,
discussion, comments. and of course - please do share / resteem,
upvote if you find it interesting, useful.
Let's do our best to make that Change, at least for our own self and for the sake of others! :)
Many try to Change others - very few try to Change themselves.
