6/26/2018. Tranparencybot Update.

As I'm sure everyone has seen, many of @transparencybot's comments are now being downvoted by @berniesanders and his minion accounts. Of course anyone that cares to look into true rewards pool rape (just filter by incoming votes) will see the pure irony in this, yet exposing that abuse is beyond the scope of this project.

@Transparencybot's single goal is to allow users to ascertain and compare the paid and unpaid vote values on any post that has received more than $50.00 from pay for vote sellers. It is up to you to decide how to react to this information.

This post will be updated and duplicated many times per day so Bernie and the gang can burn their SP on it. The reputation figure of transparencybot is meaningless and it will continue to post even if it has a - 50 rep.

Here are today's top upvoter's. Thank you VERY much for the support, this is so important for our long term success!

TransparencyBot is presenting information that IS available on the blockchain, but NOT otherwise available on Steemit.

Transparency allows all of us who care about this platform to know what is going on, directly see how it affects us, become more educated as to what can be done and then; hopefully, act in a way that protects our platform for years to come.

@TransparencyBot needs your help, this must be a community effort or it WILL fail.

This is a non-profit initiative, all funds received by or delegated to it will be used directly for this mission only. No one, including myself is being paid for any service or product. Please consider supporting it by upvoting this post and/or the comments left by @transparencybot.

As of 4/18/18, @transparencybot will begin upvoting random posts that use the #nobidbot tag and have not used bidbots on the post.
The number of random votes it does per day depends entirely on its remaining voting power. Later on, a filter to select only authors with reputation's of perhaps 60 (or 50) and below may be incorporated, but for now it is wide open.

If you would like to delegate directly, you can do so by clicking on the following links. You can remove your delegation at any time. Be sure to leave at least 50 SP in your account.

50SP 100SP 250SP 500SP 1000SP 5000SP.

How does transparencybot use its voting power?

@Transparencybot along with a continuously growning support base upvotes the comments its leaves to keep them visible. It does not vote on any of the @bycoleman accounts.

In addition, if transparencybot does not need to use its VP in upvoting its own comments (so they are visible), then is uses its VP to randomly upvote Steemians' who have used the #nobidbot tag and not used bidbots on its post.

It is a non-profit initiative and much like the March of Dimes or Steemcleaners, it of course relies on donations. These funds are not distributed back to its owners or delegators.

How does bycoleman use his voting power?

I @bycoleman, in conjunction with @botreporter, currently use 100% of my voting power to upvote random Stemians who do not use bidbots on their post. Click here for upvote report.

@Transparencybot and @bycoleman also use their VP to downvote selected posts where the author has opted-out and that post has received more than $50.00 in paid votes.

How to Opt-out from the comments.

  • Only the author of the post may opt out.
  • Simply reply via the comment left by transparencybot with the words "#TBOpt-out" or "TBoptout" . Other forms of this tag are also scanned for your convenience.
  • If you elect to opt out of the comment, then transparencybot reserves the right to downvote your post for disagreement of rewards.
  • You may of course opt back in at any time by using the tag #tbopt-in within any reply you make to transparencybot.

WE NEED OUR PLATFORM BACK --- LET'S GET QUALITY BACK ON THE TRENDING LIST

So we had a very civil conversation about how you upvoted your comment and it was higher than my organic comments. I said I appreciate your bot and understood why you upvoted because of your rating but that for me as an author who has only a 0.01 vote I couldn't upvote organic comments enough. So why did you just send an army of downvoters after me? I am a small account, who writes very creative unique content that I only post on steem and I only use bots maybe 1 out of 10 posts (and I don't post every day far from it). You are stealing my money- as I already lost money from upvoting I just did it to get some visibility and in no way abuse the system or shove my content in people's faces. I'm not sure why you are attacking someone like me, But i would appreciate if you removed the flags.

Here you can see what it's like to fight the bot @transparencybot. Its programmer @bycoleman gives it a flag. I just hope everyone's doing business with @bycoleman changes that. revokes his bot from all delegated SP. Defend yourselves and mark all his contributions !

I'm being threatened because I don't want any messages from his bot.

and you waited until literally minutes before payout. I have been a fairly vocal supporter about the idea of new users seeing that posts use bots, I simply asked you not to upvote your comment above my organic ones. You are seriously fucking with me and I do NOTHING shady or fucked and do nothing but promote this platform in a positive light, and have transferred other crypto into steem so I could have a larger vote and invest in the platform. I agree that some accounts are throwing their weight around and putting garbage on trending every day all day, but what you are doing is straight bullying for no reason . You message made it seem like I was being threatened if I didn't opt back in, do you think that is an appropriate way to respond after I had that conversation with you and considering 1. My account size 2. That I write intelligent interesting stuff that is what makes this platform a viable social media and 3. That I actually don't mind your bot and your bot comment I jst don't want it to be above the actual discussion?!

The bot simply selects from a list of people that have opted out. There is no vendetta or retaliation.

it IS a retaliation if you target those who have opted out... that's the literal description of what it is, retaliating against people who opt out

I told you I didnt mind it as long as it wasn't above my organic comments, so this was kind of ...

You liar i never opted out of anything

You used your fake account to upvote a comment for profit and I am the bad guy for getting a 10 dollar upvote? 10 fucking dollars.

@Transparencybot's single goal is to allow users to ascertain and compare the paid and unpaid vote values on any post that has received more than $50.00 from pay for vote sellers

I didnt get 50 dollars in votes.
