"Burst Universe"_Bringing Competition to Steemit
The times are definitely changing! I can smell it in the air! I thought 0f an idea and even though the idea is already out there, I had an idea of what if! What if the 'Burst' devs(developers) decided to consider the idea of having the Burst platform upgraded to be built like 'STEEM' on how it rewards it's users? Wh0a! If ya Burst fans thought the asset-exchange was the business! Just think having the asset-exchange along with getting paid to upvote, comment and what not just like 'STEEM'.

Really, think for a second, do you not see(insight) where the 'trend' is going? Genius! Having not only the asset-exchange but also having the platform(https://www.burstnation.com/) rewarding it's users! POWERFUL STUFF! POWERFUL STUFF!
Let's as Burst fans push this to the developers as much as we can to get them to understand the power in this. Craig Grant you a promoter, get on those vids like you normally do & let's start a movement! Told ya, I'm serious about Burst!

That's awesome news. Several projects starting to do this. Going to look and see if I can get the burst wallet going again. Last attempt needed ie to be updated might try a different computer.

I heard of CLAM but looked into it. I may have to check out CLAM jus to see what it's about, won't hurt!

Not sure on Zcash or Zcoin, but right now only options are 50/50 or 100% power up. Otherwise not what your looking for but you can decline the payout!

It is a PoS coin, so it stakes, over time you leave the wallet running and with enough CLAM your wallet will sign the block and recieve 1 CLAM!
sORT of like Zca$h and Zc0in? Do you happen to know(off t0pic) another way to go about switching 0r changing our rewards to our preferences besides dealing with it when we right a blog? I'm not blogging now and will like to switch my rewards to give me 0nly STEEM(liquid) rather than 50/50 split(s.p.)?
That's true many other sites are doing this as well. as for the iApp does not matter to me, I run android, but yeah many apple users want it on the phone as well.
Maybe in the future I will get both Android and iPhone so that I don't miss out on anything major ;)

I did some reading up on the site, forums and watched a few videos on Burst and had a few questions for you. Not being terribly experience in crypto, these are just for my own understanding, so please don't take any of these to be putting the project itself down.
What is it that sets burst apart from other crypto projects?
It looked like the way mining was done by allocating part of your hard drive for it to store 'completed calculations' and it's low cost of 0.02 cents (10 kW) was rather unique.
I also saw that smart contracts was a big piece of burst, which as the site mentioned was also available with Etherium. Is there a difference between how the two projects use this function?
I can see how the casino area with the couple of games (I'm sure there will be more) is a use case for the burst currency. Looking through the asset explorer I saw some of those at the top of the rich list stating other projects including mining, other casino/games, and investments that pay dividends. Is the general use of burst to create these types of 'individualized projects?' Would this be similar to bitshares but instead of making unique assets, they all use the burst coin?
What exactly is cross-blockchain transfer? Is this what would allow for currency exchanges between blockchains, such as trading Steem - Burst, Bitcoin - Burst, etc through the Burst blockchain instead of going through another exchange?
You had talked about your idea of combining the @thirsty project with Burst. Can you go a little more in depth on how Burst would be used in that case? Would thirst entertainment create a fund and provide payouts through Burst in that case? Again..not trying to argue the idea at all...just wanting to get a clearer picture in my head.
I want to make sure I do it justice when it's talked about.
Wow! didn't expect a reply let alone a long reply ;) Glad you responded by the way! It's best to speak with the main developer himself(Crowetic) and his team f0r real answers to your questions. But to answer a few yes, the idea is based off of 'STEEM', @thirsty just followed the trend which EVERYONE including Burst should go for. Simply getting rewarded for content weather it be via forums, web-sites, etc...
