I want to use this privilege to do a quick reintroduction of myself especially because I'm still a newbie and I think it's very important for this particular post today.

Even though that's not the main aim of this post, I think it's worthwhile.

I am tomset, short for Thomas Seth...a wtiter, educator and creative thinker. My account was activated only about 3days ago, hence I've only had three days of experience on the steemit community but it's already like I've known it for ages and must say that I've already fallen in love 😘 with every bit of it! I mean, really in love...😍

Within this short time, I have met and made lifetime friends, read incredible posts and seen unimaginable insights to the world of cryptocurrencies and the blockchain, indelible transformation to the world of social media and lots more.

I am unapologetically declaring today that Steemit.com is by far the best social media that there would be, beyond Facebook, Twitter and Instagram and will keep promoting it with every opportunity I get...

Now back to the main content of today...

During my first three days (today inclusive), I have read so many posts by my beloved steemians which I considered "simply priceless" and I'm recommending for everyone especially my fellow newbies.

Among the so many posts I have read so far, I consider the following Three as MUST READ for every newbie on the steemit community.

  1. Come to give, not take: The power of reciprocity by @shenanigator
I think this by far the best post for every newbie on this community. It shows how an average Jo....rdan (like he describes himself) made an awesome transition from the bottom to now connecting with the whales. If you are a newbie on this platform, it's a worthy one for you read

  2. Best Practices for steemit Newbie Artists by @merej99
In this one, @merej99 gives us incredible insights to creating more value to the community rather than just posting "pictures" because we'd want to. Among the so many insights, she made the following highlights in form of self-reflective questions:
    A. What prompted you to post?
    B. What was your inspiration behind creating it?
I tell you what? Her tips are priceless...find out more here

  3. How to build a following of 160k from scratch by @allasyummyfood
Here's another priceless one. I really want to thank @allasyummyfood for this one. Even though not so many will be blunt enough to admit, but it's no doubt we all need followers at least people that could see what we share and engage with us. That's the essence of a community right?
Every newbie seeking incredible outburst of followers must read this

That is it from me for now.
Thank you! ✌

Welcome @tomset

You are right with the claim that steemit is by far a better social media than the other "bigger" platforms. I also find it funny how there are plenty of apps that are developed just to get used with steemit, for example the app I've recently found called Steepshot. So amazing that there are plenty of people around the globe adding different topics in all different categories and that it seems like "we all get along well together", somehow like a utopia coming true in my opinion. Thank you for the information on what to read, especially the very important information on how to get along on steemit.

You're most welcome @beatdragon...

Thank you for stopping by, for reading through and especially for finding this one worthwhile. It is my earnest expectation that we all experience the positives and feel the ultimaye impact this platform has created for us.

Oh wow, it's amazing how fast people have adopted its use and developed compliments. Though I'm yet to download steepshot, i believe it'll be worthwhile.

Thank you once more. Cheers!

Thomas, this is a nice and informative piece for newbies and the veterans those that have even 'matured' on steemit! Thank you for sharing. I found the ideas and tips for steemit users involved in creative art to be quite important and expressive especially for someone like me that delves into photography and pencil art.

Thanks again!

Oh wow, thank you very much for finding this post worthwhile and for considering it a universal one. I'd love to see your works subsequently too.

Thanks.
