Hi guys, time for some quick update on @tipU upvoting service.
Checking Investment Status
You can now send 0.001 SBD to @tipU with memo: balance or memo: status (both will work).
You will receive information about the amount of your invested / delegated SP, pending payout etc. More info here:

Upvoting @tipU Comments
When somebody used a comment to tell @tipU to upvote a post, @tipU upvoted also the upvoter and its own comment so that both comments would be more visible (for promotional reasons). The upvotes were done with 0.3% voting power so very little, nevertheless with about 10 comments a day it would lower investors profits by around 1%. I've disabled the feature as the demand for upvotes from @tipU is still high so promotion like this is not needed. Gonna need to find some other way to inform potential investors about @tipU, let me know if you have any ideas ;)
Recovering Voting Power To 90%+ Levels
I'm planning to make a voting power recovery day so to not upvote for around 24 hours. This would increase maximum @tipU upvote to around 5 SBD. The only downside is - no profit for those 24 hours so no payout for one day. I would like to ask investors are they OK with that. If not - we'll stay at current voting power (around 70%). Let me know what do you guys think :)

better do it now because 20% more voting power well it brings 20% more rewards for the investors and more upvotes for the users so less downtime. Win-Win for both or all 3 sides (as you will also get more rewards)
It doesnt work like this :) less voting power means smaller vote but more votes can be casted so the profit is the same no matter the voting power. In theory at least :)
not really, every 100% upvote costs 2% votepower and you regenerate 20% per day -> 10 100% upvotes per day.
For example you have at 100% an 1$ upvote. You can upvote 10 times without losing votepower so per day thats 10$ from upvotes (ok not exactly because you arent only voting with 100% but ok).
When you only have 70% votepower an upvote will bring 0,7$. So if you want to throw out 10$ with upvotes you would have to make at least 14 100% upvotes. But when you are voting 14 times your votepower will go down 8 % that day. If you want to upvote on the next day also for 10$ you will have to cast more upvotes .
So if you want to upvote again for 10$ you will have to cast atleast 15 100% upvotes to reach 10$ because you started with only 62% votepower.
Lets take the stats of tipu:
VP 64%
Voting value 3,62$
Let him cast 10 100% votes today without losing VP
10*3,62$=36,2$ upvotes for today and the VP will stay at 64%
Lets calculate the same with a VP of 100%
Voting value: 5,61$
10*5,61$ = 56,10$
And the next day he can start again with 100% VP.
So well hmmm I think the difference is enormous. Less VP means smaller votes but doesn't mean that you can vote more often well actually you could vote more often but that would reduce the VP even faster.

And 100% upvote will cost 1.4% not 2%. So I will be able to make 14 upvotes which will cost me again 20% so one day of spendable voting power :)
The less voting power you have, the less voting power each vote take. If I would have 20% of voting power, each 100% vote would take 0.2% (2%/ 10).
This last thing should be 10% vp -> 0.2% for full vote.

Nooo, because only when upvote is done by the bot, investors receive their share in the profit. If I would make the upvote manually, no profit for investors :(
