How to earn more revenue on your posts and why post promotion in chat is nothing more than wastage of time
Hello dear steemians, Atter the HF 19 I became aware of a number of rules that work on steemit and since I didn't knew these rules I made a lot of mistakes which you are probably making too. This post is to make you aware that nothing beats a great post.
Let's cut to the chase.
How to earn more money on your posts
The more popular steemit is going to become the more difficult it will be to earn easy money from shitty posts that previously used to generate more money before. So good content is the most important key to your success. Due to increased voting revenue nobody is going to vote shitty posts since they will save it up for their benefit or for deserving candidates.
Since you don't have the control over other's mind thus nothing is guaranteed so your great content may go unnoticed but not forever. You can use chat in this case to increase your connections with like minded people sharing same interests rather than trading votes with random people whose votes may not have any significant value.
Having more power will attract more people to your Blog. It may sound bad but the truth is there are many people in steemit with shit loads of steem power who blog everyday about how much they earned and how much they spent which is technically of no use to normal people neither does it have any entertainment nor knowledge value, people n curators flock to their posts to make some money and help these people to make even more. So the bottom line is Buy steem n power up, it will give you huge returns for sure.
If you are unable to fulfill the above criteria then try to help the ones with your voting power and don't waste it by randomly voting, don't exhaust your voting power. You get curation rewards for voting sensibly and get to create connection with peple whom you support and hopefully they will remember you and support you later or now.
Why you are wasting your time in post promotion
What I have mostly seen in post promotion is newbies mostly try to get votes in exchange by up voting others. But the fact is the people who spend most of the time in post promotion have already exhausted most of their voting power so their votes are not worth anything i guess. So getting votes from thee people can definitely be wastage of time.
However you can use chat for the betterment of this community and also to get great tips from the pro's since there are some amazing people in the discord which you can be a part of.
So newbies please do a bit more research about steemit and instead of wasting time in post promotion ( Once in a while using post promotion can always be done though) in hope of getting some up votes, you can always spend the time creating some quality contents.

haha. It's not wrong to write shitty posts at least when some one is trying. we get better eventually. Thnks for your up vote. each and every up vote is way more precious than it's SBD value since it's love which is priceless( except for post promotion in chat, a barter should always be a good deal)
The curators need to be more careful while choosing the posts they upvote. Good content needs to come up and recognised.
