LAPTOP STOLEN: I want to help @gloglo get re-situated - New Laptop
@gloglo shared with me today, her laptop got stolen while she was away to a Steemit meetup!
Damn, and she was just posting about how it's going to take a sea-change in Nigeria, and everybody will need to start treating each other differently...
Frustrating.
She needs a laptop, and is capable of a great deal to help Nigeria. She's full time Steemian and I said I would help make her issues known because it's an important first step. Establishing leaders in Nigeria to help inform others of entirely new possible vistas available, is an important cause in my mind.

Abiding by the self-first ideum, I mentioned I hope she will do what is necessary to secure her life, liberty and property. Only then can she be in a position to help others!
Further I mentioned I think when she does so, she will be a great example to others on Steemit, and lead by example. Lead by establishing mutual self respect, thus mutual respect.

Am so frwn to tear right now, I have been a little emotional but trying to be strong for me and everyone around me. This is an assurance that am acccepted here as a family and I really appreciate you @surfyogi for the support so far. I do not knoe how to measure this level of kindness.

It is only human that I felt the pain but trust me I am even going to occupy myself with some fruitful things that will help me forget it totally.
I tried so hard to organize a meet up here in Morocco but it's hard to get people interaction and expensive too because travel expenses and space expenses in which the meeting will be organized any suggestions or advices or help ?

Find people in your area that are already on steemit and organize a meetup and ask everyone that comes to bring a friend that is interested. Need a major city meetup place, but if you find everyone on steemit in morraco via google search, you can probably get it going.
Also advertise you are attempting FIRST MEETUP in Morraco and ask people to upvote your announcement to help cover costs.

I already convinced two friends to join they are here with me now on steemit we work hard now to collect much people from our area and join the platform

here in cebu Philippines, we have meet ups every beginning of the month.. our leaders @steemph.cebu use the funds from there to fund the meetups, and provide small snacks to the members during meet ups.. i think it will be best to create a steemit account and have influential and responsible people run it from your locale.
meanwhile, maybe u can start from a free space, like a park or something. make it short and precise and set goals for the next one which can be bigger. but atleast start from somewhere.. Baby steps @soufianechakrouf

This act by @surfyogi is humbling. @gloglo is an amazing personality and she is so loved in Nigeria for her true and dynamic way of putting her thoughts together. It's sad that her laptop was stolen but thank God people are rising to give aid. Can't wait to have you fully back online ma'am @gloglo and thanks @surfyogi for this selfless act.

It is sad when people with no values go out there to rob hard earned property from somewhere else. I am sure she will receive the proper support from this community in order to get a new laptop, better than the old one.

Ahh sucks to see this happen... But it's also amazing to see you helping her out! This just shows how amazing and supportive the community is. These kind of situations can definitely give more motivation for a lot of people to be a part of this community!

Mehn!.. This is so bad and hurtful. I feel for her and I know she must have lost a lot of important stuffs valuable to her there. I know she'll bounce back, she'll definitely cus she's a strong person.
@gloglo is a loving and cool person and I wonder why a stupid thief will make away with her laptop.
