This Post is for those interesting to know about established Markets that allow them to purchase & obtain Steem.
For many, this is a complicated process especially if you haven't gone through it before & even problematic for those who have never purchased any Cryptocurrency before.
Keep in mind that;

Steemit is a Social Network

So let's say your goal is to invest in Steemit because you think that there is a lot of opportunity in this platform, you would like to invest but have little to no experience whatsoever when it comes to obtaining any Cryptocurrency

Before you invest money, it's important to determine whether your Investment has potential Return on your Investment, if you feel Steemit has potential to grow as a Social Network, then you should invest in Steem

There are severals ways to purchase Steem from different Markets, each method has it's drawbacks so I will you give a simple comparison for each one of them, so you can decide your preferred way of purchasing Steem

Every Buyer interested to purchase Steem, will evaluate;

  1. Steem Selling Price (a.k.a Market Price)

Since Cryptocurrencies hasn't been around for too long, many Markets will lack liquidity because of the little buyers & sellers willing to trade, however this will change over time as it get's widely more Adopted. Great post.

One aspect of peer to peer that you don't mention here is anonymity. There are also users on Steemit (l0k1) that are working on enabling tumblers and Tor access to the network right now, that will increase the ease of staying anonymous during such transactions.

This post has been ranked within the top 80 most undervalued posts in the second half of Feb 10. We estimate that this post is undervalued by $5.96 as compared to a scenario in which every voter had an equal say.

See the full rankings and details in The Daily Tribune: Feb 10 - Part II. You can also read about some of our methodology, data analysis and technical details in our initial post.

Good post, Please in your next version include Shapeshift.io , it's very convenient and the prices are cheaper than blocktrades.us

Good discussion point. Nice to see I'm not the only one who thinks like this. There's a lot of exchanges out there. I found that coinmarketcap.com gives quite a decent overview. Besides coinmarketcap.com there is: https://www.coincheckup.com I'm using this site that gives in depth reports on every tradable cryto in the market. For example: https://www.coincheckup.com/coins/Steem#analysis For the Steem Indepth analysis.
