The Steem Lagos crew recently announced our intention to promote Steemit to the large population in Lagos through the Steem-Lagos Workshop.

The first version of the workshop series will be coming up on the 28th October 2017 in a location in Ikeja, Lagos.

The Steem Lagos Workshop 1.0 is intended to be a workshop for Steemians and Non-Steemians; in the bid to get Non-Steemians to come for the workshop, we have created a Facebook page and event.

Facebook has the largest gathering of Lagosians online, according to the Facebook ads manager tool there are over 8.5 million Lagosians from the age of 18 to 64 on Facebook. Below is a screenshot from the ad manager.

Since Facebook has millions of people that are in our target age group, and we want to make this marketing effort a continuous effort it makes sense to reach the people where they gather.

For this reason, we have created a Facebook Page with which we intend to build a community of blockchain technology enthusiasts in Lagos.

As the workshop is a medium to present Steemit to Non-Steemians, we will be using the Steem Dollar from this post to promote the event page.

I @lucashunter have the skills required to run a successful Facebook ad campaign. You can see how I get cheap quality traffic from the screenshot above; it would be a great honor to use my skill to promote the Steemit community.

We will use the Steem Dollar reward gotten from this post to promote the event page to get Lagosians come for the workshop.
